YOU'LL REGRET HIRING PAUL TO DO YOUR FENCING WORK! The most unprofessional man in the business. My entire family had the WORST time dealing with PAUL and his company. He has caused such a divide among me (who needs a backyard fence) and my neighbours (who've already contracted and paid him do a part of their backyard fence). He failed (or even knew but ignored it) to ask us and confirm prior to building our backyard fence if our backyard was properly graded. After talking with my neighbours and hearing that all our houses were not properly graded (I live in a somewhat new developed area) we had to ask him to not build our backyard fence until we get our backyard properly graded. Additionally, the next thing that frustrated my family about Paul was that when we asked him to start working, which was when he started to look at our lot measurements on our land survey, we casually asked him if he has a license and if we can see it (because the city where I live in recommends residents to ask contractors if they have a license to work to help protect consumers by ensuring theses contractors work safely and are insured); Paul immediately went into a TANTRUM and unprofessionally displayed a HISSY-FIT to my family. Paul himself VOLUNTARILY decided STOP WORKING on our fence! What kind of professional and business does this? An unprofessional business, and it's clear to my family now that only an unlicensed business who's scared would do what Paul did; so it's my own opinion that I think Paul and his business is unlicensed. My family was so shocked by the cascade of negative emotions, yells, murmurs, and bad hand gestures that Paul displayed to us. He immediately decided to end his contract with us and quickly gathered his tools and made a run for it in his truck. A couple hours later, I see him with his wife driving outside of my house on my street. I fear that he will damage my property as a way to seek vengeance because of his actions he showed to my family earlier. His unprofessional attitude and abrupt termination of work on our fence caused a drift among my family members too: we are all so angry because we don't have a fencing contractor anymore and we have to look for one again. He wasted a lot of our time and now our privacy will still remain an issue because we still don't have a fence. We need to have a fence and need to look for a new contractor, but definitely not with Paul, even if the man apologizes (which he has not still, but that's nothing I didn't expect in light of these new events, given the way he treated my family earlier). All I can say is the best thing about this transaction was not hiring Paul to build our fence! (On a side note, Paul agreed to widen one of my neighbours fence onto another neighbours property without the latter neighbours consent. This is wrong and Paul was being untruthful to this latter neighbour. Luckily this latter neighbour found this out just in time and also found out that they paid the builder of their house for a partial privacy fence when they bought their house, thus not requiring Paul's fencing service for that area of fencing they already paid for beforehand.)
