Repainting of outdoor shutters

When we first met Charlotte we felt that she was professional. However, on the day of booking, no one showed up or contacted us. After an hour of waiting, we contacted Charlotte and she stated she was sick and wanted to reschedule which was a huge inconvenience for us. After much back and forth, she did send her crew later that day. Their ladder hit the windows multiple times. We had to supervise them in her absence. We never got a receipt for our final payment even after it was requested. The work was fine. But the service was unprofessional and the communication was poor and frustrating. We still have not received a receipt for our final payment

Approximate cost of services:
$500.00

Company Response

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

I communicated with the client on the day that we would be arriving that I was feeling quite under the weather and asked them if they would prefer to move the project to the following day so that I could be there to supervise in person. The client then stated that this didn't not work for them. I clarified that the crew could still work that scheduled day; however if they would like me to be there to start the project, as they had requested during the estimate that another day would be best. They decided to go head with the scheduled day. Every crew we send out has a crew chef. They are there to make sure jobs get done the right way because as a business owner, I cannot always be on every site at all times.

When the job was completed, I received a text from the client afterwards saying that everything looked great and my team did a really good job on the project. I was not aware of any issue that happen on the job site. I assumed from their text message that they were happy with the project.

The client asked me for a receipt. I then stated that the agreement that they signed, would work as a receipt and for tax purposes.

I do recognize that my communication could have been better. I did apologize to the clients for the way the project was started. I want to be the best business person I can be, and will continue to work towards that daily. In the future I will make sure to communicate much better with my clients.

Best,

Charlotte
