Stoney Creek Furniture

Excellent quality and selection at Stoney Creek furniture. Prices are fair, comparable to what I found online. Lots of parking and helpfull staff. Negotiating is difficult, especially if its already "on sale". The best I could do was free delivery!

We found the perfect TV stand at Stoney Creek furniture which had great selection overall. The purchase was straighforward, efficient. The service we received after the product malfunctioned was exceptional though. Home service call and the repairman gave us a 15 min window when he would arrive and stayed true to that time(unlike having to wait half a day for the phone co. to come).

Bought a table from there store. Had it delivered, and where very happy with the table until we found it damaged. Called them and they where going to deliever another table free of charge. Took off a half day of work to recieve the table and it turned out the table was even more damaged than the new one we had bought. They must have swapped that table out with one in the bargan bin. Called management on a thursday and he was going to have it taken care of. Week and a half later we had to call them back and talk to two other managers and both of them gave us the run around. Finally talked to the owner and he was going take care of it. Had to call back 2 days later because I only seen part of what was promised to happen. We where very excited about Stoney Creek Furniture since we had just bought a new house and need to furnish the entire house and we like so many things in the store. After this experience with this company I would not recommend to anyone or do I have a good feeling about this company. If they would have done things right the first time, or at least fixed the problem RIGHT the first time and taken accountability for their mistake than we would have been satisfied and repeat customers.

I recently bought a living room set at Stoney Creek furniture. The staff was extremely helpful in selecting the fabrics to match my door, and I felt no pressure when I turned down a couple of their "upsell" recommendations.

We recently purchased new furniture for our living room and decided to try Stoney Creek Furniture - let's just say that it was worth the drive to Stoney Creek! The customer service was excellent!

Even when there were problems with the couch/loveseat Stoney Creek stood by their products. We returned the furniture to be repaired without question. It's nice to know there are companies that guarantee their product!

I visited their showroom and bought a sofa and chair. Salesperson was very helpful and made suggestions for accent pillows and even paint colour. I ended up using her selection and was very happy. Sofa/chair arrived Friday and it looks fantastic. Thanks again!

Bottom line: quality control is poor, customer service not helpful, once you pay, if something foes wrong, you might as well forget about your furniture.
I will never buy anything there or from Palliser and I DO NOT RECOMMEND this store to anyone!

We wanted our first "real" piece of furniture to be of good quality and did not want to get it at Ikea or the Brick, but wanted something better. So we went to SCF.
At the beginning the service was great. Everything was possible and everything was just the way we wanted it. We finally picked a sofa and a colour that we wanted (after weeks of deliberation). Then, we were told that the sofa will take 8 weeks to be delivered, not the 4 weeks they initially promissed. We almost walked out, but at the last moment turned around and paid the deposit. SHOULD HAVE KEPT WALKING!!!
Four weeks later, they told us our sofa was ready. We were extatic! We wanted to get the sofa as soon as possible so we drove to Stoney Creek to pay the rest of the balance (they won't deliver until you pay). We paid and then went to look at the sofa. To our horror, there was a large mark on the cushion that they claimed was a natural scar. It looked like someone has cut the cushion with a knife and then tried to fix it. We said that it was unacceptable and wanted them to fix it. They said no problem, they will order the part, fix it and deliver it in 3 weeks. In the meantime they gave a us a "loaner" sofa so we have something to sit on.
Three weeks went by, still no sofa. We finally called to see what's goinng on, and apparently, the wrong part arrived (or was ordered, no one wants to take responsibility for it). So, then we now have to wait until they send the new part and that gets fixed. So probably another 3 weeks. We paid the full price in November. No compensation was offered, it's basically sit and wait.

we searched all over southern ontario for the perfect tv console
for our new plasma, found it at Stoney Creek, just what we wanted, colour, style, size ,etc, and it was on sale.
The only issue was waiting for delivery, it took six weeks, from Ottawa. but it was acceptable as we were very happy with our selection.
