Service

We were not happy with the customer service at Stoney Creek Furniture. We made a transaction in good faith on the Sunday, arranging to pick up our furniture on the following Saturday. Then we got a call saying we wouldn't be able to get the furniture for another month and a half. Needless to say, we were very put out, and when I called to complain, the manager was not understanding at all, expecting us to accept their mistake as human error. Well, as I explained to him, if I make a mistake and didn't pay my interest on time, I would not get a break, so I expected some form of compensation but none was forthcoming, only a limp sorry. Not good enough Scot! You need to learn what customer service is all about. Will not be coming into your store again.

Dining Set

This company has beautiful furniture, out of this world selection, tons of sales. We went when there was a 40% sale. The staff are very helpful and ensure there is lots of coffee and treats. the prices are reasonable, and you can negotiate. The veneer wood is solid and gives great impressions.

BR and Dinning Room Set Purchase

Well, few friends recommend me SC for my new furniture hunt. Though, when I read some unhappy reviews, I was very skeptical to buy anything from StoneyCreek Furniture. BUT, few weeks back we were driving to Niagara Falls and we took an opportunity to visit the store as it was on our way, nothing to lose but few hours. When we drop by their huge showroom, we were pleasantly surprised. Despite huge staff presence, no one is chasing you to buy something. Later, I came to know that sales team here do not work on commission. So no pressure. One of the sales lady, Debbie came by to ask if we need any help. And then we started talking about what we need. She showed us different options and designs as per our need. After 3 hours, we ended up buying almost all the furniture we need (2 BR set, Dining room set etc). I was still skeptical about the delivery as people had issues regards to their delivery. When I ask Debbie, she told me she can deliver all items in 2 days. We booked next weekend for the delivery. On the delivery day, everything was on time and in good order. The crew were fantastic, set up everything perfectly. Though, my Dining Room Set had some minor issues. So I email Debbie and sent her pictures. She replied me back and promised me that she will send someone to look at it. They will fix the issue or will replace it with a new one. Overall, I had a great experience with my purchase. Debbie was excellent and very honest. One Tip – Do not order any special order stuff. She told me that it can take minimum 8 to 12 weeks. And most of the time delay happens out of their control. I think that where some people had bad experiences with their purchases at Stoney Creek. Well, I am going back again for some other furniture and would suggest same to others. Again, Thanks Debbie for great service ……

Furnishing my daughter's room

DO NOT BUY FROM STONEY CREEK FURNITURE. Our nightmare started with a salesperson, although seemingly very helpful, she was actually very ineffective in her dealings with me. I was told that two extra items were included in the set I ordered when in fact they were not. I had to make additional purchases. I was also then sold (twice) a piece of furniture that didn't even go with the set I purchased. The delivery men made a gash on the main wall of my daughter's room and instead of apologizing and trying to rectify the situation covered it up with furniture and left. When you call customer service, no one seems to know what is going on. I received so many calls from customer service and no one was ever aware of the previous calls and messages I had received. All they said when I brought up issues was a canned response, "We are sorry that you feel that way." Save yourself a ton of aggravation and shop anywhere else.

Living Room Set

We purchased a living room set from Stoney Creek Furniture. The sales associate was very patient with us and helped us select the perfect set for our family and home. Best of all, they stored the furniture for us for free while we were waiting to move into our new home. They promptly delivered the furniture on our closing/move in date which was very convenient.

ordered furniture

We made our first and last furniture purchase at SCF. The customer service is terrible. We placed an order in Sept. for early Nov. a couch and 2 chairs. I was tiold by the delivery person only one chair was there and the other one in Dec. I was never called to tell me that when the sales rep knew in Oct. I spoke to a manager who helped me and promised he would follow up with this, he didn't. I sent an email to the owner Dec. 7 and still haven't heard back. Lots of other furniture places to buy from.

Furniture store

I dread going to a furniture store and be swamped by sales people. Fortunately I have not encountered any unpleasant moments like that in Stoney Creek.

Most of the Stoney Creek sales consultants in the stores and behind counters were soft spoken and polite. The first sales consultant gave me a quote, but did not have a lot of information to offer on the furniture I was going to purchase.
The second sales consultant was Brenda H. Brenda H. carefully measured the sofa and chairs I needed and put them quickly in a computer program. This program helped to visualize my living room and how the new furniture was going to fit in it. Brenda H. also gave me brilliant tips on nail head trim and valuable opinion on special order items. That day I was going to place order for three pieces of furniture, but ended up placing order for four. Nevertheless, one of the colors I have chosen for a chair was wrong, I emailed Brenda H. overnight. She read the email and carefully took care of the matter immediately. Not only that, when I phoned the next morning she had already selected 4 new colors (new fabrics) for me to consider when I drop by.

Purchased TV unit

My husband and I purchased a TV unit for our house. The unit was on backorder and was supposed to be delivered in x weeks (forget the actual time....something like 4 or 6 weeks). Well 6 weeks rolls around and no word from SCF. My husband phoned to see what the status of our order was and they told us that it would be still another 4-6 weeks as they were waiting for a shipment from China. I was a little disappointed in their customer service (should have contacted us when they found out about the delay), however they did waive the delivery fee.

Living room & dining room set

Superb customer services. Reasonable prices. Good sales. Would highly recommend this store to anyone. Love the sale people. Energetic, enthusiastic, and knowledge salespeople that listen to you. Lots of variety. High to low end. Meets everyones budget.

Repair previously purchased couch

The previously purchased couch had a cracked frame. The couch was under extended warranty. Stoney Creek Furniture came to our home and removed the couch to repair. The company took 2 weeks to repair the couch which is what the told us before hand. The couch was 4 years old (just uder 5 years). We we completely satisfied with the work that was done.
