We are delighted with our new finished basement. Mike was wonderful to work for and is the type of guys that gives contractors a good name. MIke Holmes would agree, I'm quite sure. We obtained 4 estimates for our basement before going with Mike. Apart from his competitive quote, what appealed to us was MIke's down to earth approach and easy going manner.
They say with every job there will be the hidden problem and our case was no exception. However, we were happy that it was discovered and we were able to get it fixed. Mike brought in experts and a back wall of our house was replaced due to water damage. We didn't even know this was a problem before starting on the basement.
We were in no major rush and so timelines were not that important to us. What we were more interested in was quality workmanship and that is what we got, including my lovely cedar closet; an awesome bathroom; the built in bookshelves (thanks Tony); and the gorgeous slate tile. It is better than we hoped for and we would work with Mike and his team again in a heart beat. Thank you so much Mike!
