After reading some of the reviews on this site I was really hesitant about filing a warranty claim with Sleep Country I thought I would be wasting my time or get a run around. But they did not give me a hard time at all! I purchased the anjou serta euro top mattress in Aug. 2007 and last spring I started to notice sagging in the mattress where our hips are in the mattress. But when I measured the impressions they were a little less than 1 1/2`` so I left it for awhile. About two weeks ago I started feeling really uncomfortable in the bed like I was sinking more than before, so I measured it again this time the body impressions were about 2`` . So I called the store where I purchased the bed originally, I explained the problem and she told me I should make a claim and gave me the number for the warranty priority. When I called I did have to email someone I forget where it was because we had moved since I purchased the bed and they needed to update the new address. Fine. Two days later the warranty place called and said they would send me an email with a link, just click on the link and follow the instructions. So I filled out the questionaire, took some pictures and sent it off. The next day Aundrey called and said they needed one more picture with the broom handle vertically on the bed showing the measured gap, so I sent that off. The next day I called them to make sure they got the other picture requested, Yes they did recieve it but the girl I spoke with said that the sleep country only asks this information on behalf of the manufactuer and the manufactuer would need to see the broom handle at one more angle as the hump that was in the middle of the mattress made the broom handle appear to be floating. So ok, I took one more picture as she instructed. The next morning I recieved an email from the priority warranty that my claim was APPROVED. And someone would call in 24-48 hrs. to explain how to make the exchange. Someone did call that afternoon but I was not there. So I called them back the next day and spoke with Marilyn she gave me a validation number, told me to go to a sleep country store and have a look at the mattress that was comparable to my old one. I thought to myself ok, things are going too smoothly here. Maybe someone at the store would give me a hard time...Nope. I went to the guelph store and spoke with Doug and Barb, they were both friendly and curtious. They told us to take our time. They didn`t pressure us to spend money on anything. They explained that because we still have 4 yrs and 7mo. left on the warranty that even if we had a problem with the new mattress we could exchange that one as well, as long as we fit the manufactuers rules no stains, and if we had the same problem with body impressions they had to be more than 1 1/2``. I mentioned this website to them and they said they are aware of it and they feel alittle frustrated that people feel it is sleep country that make people go through all of these proceedures to prove there is a defect. When infact it is information that the manufacturer is requesting and sleep country is acting on their behalf. And just to let people know I do not work for sleep country, and I would definately refer them to anyone looking for a new bed.
