I found this company on Homestars back in 2011. They seemed to have positive reviews which is why I switched over to them in the first place.
SInce Day 1 I have been unhappy with the unprofessional service provided by them on every level.
They do not respond to alarms, I was informed by one of the agents that the monitoring station is somewhere in the US, they make accounting errors...etc.....the list goes on. I am currently trying to get out of my contract with them but so far have not been able to do so.
Horrible experience. I do not recommend this company.

Jordana, as the customer service manager I have tried having discussions with you about your concerns on more than one occasion. Each time you refused to speak with me, even when I urged you to share your concerns with me. All alarms which are not followed by a 'cancel' code are immediately responded to by one of our ULC monitoring stations. The monitoring station that responds to your alarm is located in TORONTO! Our average response time to an alarm, is 90 seconds or less. To ignore or to delay in responding to alarms, would jeopardize the ULC status. Further, our accounting department has not made any errors with respect to your account. When I spoke with you on the phone about this matter and directly asked you how you instructed your sales rep to set up your billing, you were not able to answer me. You also told me that you thought you signed a 24-month agreement, when it was clearly laid out verbally and in print that you were agreeing to a 36-month term. I am always willing to work with our clients individual needs and show as much flexibility as possible, however, I find it disturbing that you would choose to lash out at us publicly only because we expect you to honor the agreement you had entered into.
