An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
This is our first experience with a home alarm company and monitoring system. After researching various alarm company proposals, we chose to deal with SafeTech, which in our view distinguished itself from its competitors, as a privately owned Canadian company, in business more than 20 years, having its head office in Toronto, and enjoying an A+ rating and unblemished record with the Better Business Bureau. The SafeTech sales manager with whom we dealt was both professional and accommodating, and we did not feel pressured to make a commitment.
The technician who installed the equipment in our home was thorough and respectful of our property. Our calls to the company have been answered personally by a receptionist, as opposed to a voice mail queue, and our questions have been satisfactorily addressed in a timely manner. While our relationship with the company is still new, to date we are very pleased with our decision.
