Royal Overhead Doors

This was the first time I used Royal Overhead and I couldn't be happier with the sales rep. Stephany Guarascio. She came out when she said she would and made sure all measurements and custom design were done as needed. As the garage was still in construction upon her first visit she took the initiative to come out more than once to ensure measurements were exact and there weren't any errors.
Install was timely however not done right the first time. It took a few calls to the service department to get someone back out there. This second service visit still didn't fix the problem and took more calls and another 2 weeks to get someone else back. Eventually all was taken care of and door looks and works great.

Overall Sales was amazing but their service needs to catch up to that level.

I booked the appointment and was told that the job would cost $85. The person never showed up, but told the company that he was there and nobody was home. I was home, along with 6 other people, so there's no way that he came to the house.

I called back to reschedule. This time the guy came to the house to install the emergency release. He was unable to accept payment, but told me someone would call me to get it. He was nice and friendly.

Two days passed, and I called them to find out why nobody called to take my payment. I was told that it would then cost $130 + HST when I was told that it would be $85.

Do not use this company.

They were dishonest. They didn't show up when promised. They overcharged.

I must say that it was a mistake coming to this company for garage door, aluminium cladding, and garage opener installation. The work was uncoordinated - one person came to replace the door on schedule on Saturday, had no idea when the other person will do the cladding of the frame and surely enough no one turned up that day. No call from the company to communicate the schedule for the second person. The person who came to fix the garage door did not have all the material and left the job half complete. The garage is not secure and remains uninsulated for the entire weekend. He scratched my brand new garage door opener and broke an existing light fixture in the garage. I tried to call the sales person who did not respond. I called the Service Desk on Sunday who asked me to call them back on Monday. I expected that the company representative would have said that some one from the company will follow-up with me on Monday - but now I am required to chase them up. The job is still not complete.

I must say it has been a very frustrating experience.

We have had a poor installation job on our garage doors for our new home. A work order is in place to have our doors fix properly with more screws installed to hold up the weather strip on our doors. We have had 3 appointment now (including one yesterday) lined up in which someone was supposed to come fix the problem. Multiple back and forth scheduling to even get an appointment however no one showed up to our home. The installer guy stated that no one was home but in fact he never even bothered to come. We were both home every time. Would please someone explain what is going on? Seems like they hired incompetent people from the customer service people to the installation guy.

I just got my new garage doors installed Wayne dalton door insulated with two new openers the company was very responsive and fast I had the salesman came over to give us a quote.very good price I did got other quotes with other company they were the best price.a week later I got a call they came in installed very professional they were in and out two hours .LOVE MY DOORS they look great thank you royal overhead doors I will recommend your company to family and friends

The expert and helper who were dispatched in short notice to fix my 10+ years old home's broken garage door did a good job. The quality of work showed the expert had multiple decades of experience installing and fixing garage doors. They were very honest on what repairs were required which only happened to broken mechanical parts of the door. My initial service call was for broken parts and what I thought was burnt “garage door opener".

I had my garage door replaced by Royal Overhead Doors. Sam came to the house to measure our old garage door and provided me a quote. I had comparable quotes from other vendors but went with Royal because of the great reviews. The garage door was installed within a few weeks and kudos to Frank the installer who did a marvelous job. Thank you also to Sam (salesperson) for providing great and fast service. I will recommend Royal Overhead Doors to family, friends and neighbors.

We finally decided to replace our old overhead doors that aged our 10 year old home! Thanks to royal overhead doors we now have weatherproof doors that are shiny and white ! And the accessories on the doors look spectacular ! But best of all they run smooth and you can barely hear them opening and closing ! They we're quick and efficient ! Thank you again highly recommend them!

I ordered a garage door yesterday that is to be delivered and installed in 2 to 3 weeks . So far all is good and the expectations are high. I will be posting comments as communication with Royal Overhead Doors (Ezio) happen. Keep posted.
I'm selecting a rating of 3 for "recommend" as I haven't had my product installed yet. I'm not at the point where I know I can recommend this company or not.
