Our backyard needed a total overhaul. It was dated and overgrown. We got three quotes for the work and Royal Decks was in the middle between the others. Before choosing them I cold called a person in the neighbourhood who used Royal Decks. The highly recommended them and that sealed the deal for us. The process with Royal Decks (Miro, Anita, Arens, Mike, Steve and the labours) was hands on and transparent. No hidden costs or extra fees. They were a great bunch of people who did their very best to have the job done on time. For anyone looking to completely re-do their backyard I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Our back deck and landscaping was designed and constructed by Royal Decks. As well they designed and constructed our front porch and front yard landscaping. Great design and great team. Very responsive, good quality and all round great work.

Royal Decks recently completed a roof structure at my house, and both the process and end result are amazing! The work was actually completed last winter, but it took me a while to post a review because I was subsequently building my own deck and landscaping and thought it would be better to post a review with everything in my back yard completely finished.

The process was very smooth and professional Miro came to assess the property and provide a quote, and then I worked with Miro and his designer Arens as they put the final touches on the 3D model before submitting the permit to the city. Steve was the project manager, and always helpful and friendly to chat with. Dave and Eddie were the carpenters on site, and they worked extremely hard and with a lot of care and pride in their work! I was particularly impressed with how meticulous Dave was my father is also a carpenter and mentioned a number of times about how impressed he was by how tight Dave got the joints of the large timber beams. Dave cares about achieving perfection in the details, even though your average homeowner would never know the difference. You can see from the pics that the results speak for itself Royal Decks created an amazing roof structure thats rock solid (even sturdier than my house!) and will provide many years of enjoyment!

Miro & team were fantastic to work with and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build their deck.
The attention to detail was fantastic and they took care of a number of small things that I would not have thought of.

We contacted Royal Decks & Landscapes after deciding we wanted to extend our living space out into our backyard. We had a nice sized patio area but could never enjoy it during wet/cold weather. So Miro and his team helped to design a rooftop covered structure area - complete with pot lights, fans and even a gas line for a new fire table. Miro was able to use his software to help capture exactly what I wanted and make whatever adjustments needed along the way. The team also ensured we had all the required permits and inspections in place, along with sourcing top notch contractors as well. Our project manager, Steve, and his team were great to deal with while on site as they responded to every inquiry I had a long the way. And they were happy to address any concerns I may have had during the process - even via text after hours. This space has now become our own little oasis that we love to spend outdoors as a family. We can't thank them enough and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to enhance their own living space.
