I hired Roberts to do some work for us and they did a horrible job. It was messy, not at all what I asked for, and when I asked them to fix it, they said it looked fine to them and wouldn’t fix it. They also said that it is what I hired them to do (I’m pretty sure I would know what I asked them to do!) Now I have to find someone else to redo the whole project!

Also, their workers kept peeing in my back yard instead of going to the tim hortons down the street. That is completely disrespectful!

This was the fastest work ever and it is rolls nice I use it all the time and if I had another bathroom I would get him to do it agen

So, when I decided to update our house in Toronto, I remembered the name - Roberts Construction- and had them come over to give me an estimate. The owner Bob was very nice. He's old school and when he tells you he'll be there at 10 a.m. he is always prompt or calls to say he's running a few minutes behind and he's on his way.
We decided to let him have the job (a compete top-to-bottom renovation of our three-storey town- house), after seeing the results at my neighbour's house. And we have no regrets. I don't think the work that they did could have been done cheaper, or better. Bob's son Robert was on-sight virtually every day supervising the work and Bob stopped by like a mother hen, bringing coffee and donuts with him, to make sure everything was done correctly. Needless to say, we are thrilled and over the moon with the results. They knew exactly what we wanted and completed everything and more including additional things like a new roof, because a leak was discovered after they gutted the bathroom. Any over-costs related to extras that had not been planned for initially were not out of line. They might not be the cheapest company, but you know they will "make it right", as Mike Holmes says. In short, we are absolutely thrilled with the results and we recommend them highly, for all your home renovation needs. By the way, originally they said it would take 2-3 months to complete the job. They actually did it in less time (7 weeks). Thanks again, guys for your caring and committed approach!

Robert and the team are a great group of professionals who really know the Leaside area. They can give you the run down on what problems to expect with homes in the neighbourhood and make suggestions that what repairs are necessary vs. "nice-to-do". I would definitely hire them again!

After a long winter and a wet spring, the area in front of our house was a wreck. We found ourselves parking on a muddy concrete space and finally had enough. We called Roberts and they suggested a beautiful tumbled stone which was installed in a mere 2 days. The team was fast and Robert was in constant contact with me from estimate through to job completion. Needless to say, we're very pleased.

Working with Roberts was a dream! They were very fast, always kept us up to date on the progess of our job and even took photos for us along the way. They worked clean, were professional and very courteous to our neighbors, had lots of experience with old Toronto homes and were reasonably priced. I'd highly recommend them!

Excellence all around! We shopped for 3 quotes to replace shingles, and to replace a flat roof membrane. The price quoted was the lowest one received and the work was outstanding. The time line was met, the work was thorough, very fast with a team of workers, and when completed,left very clean and tidy. There was always an on-site foreman who knew everything to be done and made sure it was done to the finish.

I was very impressed with the professionalism and of course the finished product.
