Randall Brothers recently completed a main floor renovation of our original 1980’s style home. Typical of that time, the house was built with too many small rooms that were poorly designed, or blocked the sunshine from reaching much of the main floor. They created a large, open and bright living/entertaining space for us by removing some walls, while carefully concealing new structural supports, and installing larger, modern windows that now give us great view our backyard and the trails behind our property.

They expertly installed new hardwood flooring (re-staining the staircase to match), modern tiles, pot-lighting and rebuilt the fireplace utilizing an old barn beam for the mantle that really looks incredible. Just one of the many personal and creative ideas Steve and his team had for our renovation.

They also completely renovated the laundry room, including fixing a years old plumbing leak and building some shelving to maximize space. The bathroom fixtures and plumbing were all modernized, a huge improvement.

They did a great job helping create our dream kitchen which required some significant duct and header work before installing cabinets, island and a new larger window. The craftsmanship was very good and we get countless compliments on the overall look of the kitchen with its soapstone counters, big country sink and combination of open and cabinet style shelving.

The following year Randall Brothers replaced all the windows and doors on the back of the home. They recommended a manufacturer and style that we love and was reasonably priced.

The Randall Brothers team always kept the workplace clean and safe, had many creative suggestions through the build and were always very friendly. The project was on time and on budget, and we would use Randall Brothers for future projects.

Steve Randall worked with us to develop a detailed and accurate estimate for our dream house. He and his crew were the ultimate professionals in the completion of the project. The attention to details and craftsmanship and timely work made us feel very secure that our money was well spent and confidence in Randall Brothers well placed. For future renovations I will definitely look to Randall Brothers for assistance again.

We hired Randall Brothers initially in 2002 to renovate our kitchen and dining room into a single larger space. Discovery of offsetting ceiling heights, unsafe electrical wiring and other obstacles were professionally dealt with throughout the project. The craftsman cherry kitchen/dining space was completed with great attention to detail. We were so pleased that the following year we again hired them to combine a basement bathroom and small workroom to create a larger spa bathroom. The large glass shower incorporates a tall basement window with views of the back yard. The spa tub is surrounded by expertly laid polished marble tiles throughout. A 5x9 foot single sheet wall mirror was expertly installed. Randall Brothers suggested radiant floor heat for under the marble floor which is timed to heat up just before we wake in the morning.
In 2013 Randall Brothers built a 1,000 square foot two-storey boathouse/garage at our cottage. This project was handled entirely by them from excavation, foundation, framing, roofing, cedar shingle siding to electrical. They saved me considerable money by suggesting and building slab construction garage doors to perfectly match the design and scale of the custom built craftsman passage doors.

Randall was very professional and his staff was very respectful of the house. They always showed up when they said they would. Reasonable prices and good work. I had my entire house rewired by them. They also did small jobs like installing fans etc. with no problem.
