Adt Protectron - Out of Business

Initial interview to set up services went very well and I thought the rep was very knowledgeable. I already had a system installed from the previous owner, the same system that Reliance currently uses, 2 GIG GoControl. The rep however explained to me that the sensors I had were not compatible with animals and others were poorly installed/cheap items.

After signing the contract, I decided to take a look at the sensors I had. Well, they were the exact ones I was just about to pay hundreds of dollars and 5 years of contract for! Very upset, I faxed off my cancellation notice.

Waited 4 days to get a response into why I was cancelling and let them know. It took 4 phone calls to finally get them to understand that I wanted to cancel and that was that. I know get calls every couple of weeks asking how my install went, services are, if I would like to be a customer... not very professional. I hope it stops soon.

One of the useless alarm company anyone can find. I am with them for the last 28 months and I can't wait to finish my 3 year contract and leave this company. They monitor the property through the phone line and I disconnect my phone line couple of time to see if they are responding and I never got a call from anyone. When I call them to inquire the tech guy doesn't know what he is talking about and he said they only do a test every month and they will only call me when they do the next monthly test. I will never ever recommend this company to anyone.

I paid $175 through the builder for rough - in during my home construction and $125 for adding smoke detector linked to the Fire Dept. I do not know whether those payment are for installation because Reliance claims no installation fee. But the guy from Creative in Calgary AB came and did a nice job to install at my house. I was happy with his work. Monthly pay is about $25.00, which is a pretty good deal. I will see how the service goes.

I had the alarm installed for 1 year with a 3 year contract. Immediately from installation it constantly went off in the middle of the night. No one from ADT ever called. I made numerous appointments with them to service the system however they showed up and no phone call with explanation. Turns out that ADT outsources their work to Alarm Force. Alarm Force's service and customer service reps are terrible. Very rude and disrespectful. They (Lily) will yell over top of you while you are talking. Now I've been informed the system is not compatible with my area. They are not willing to change the system therefore I'm forced to disconnect service with a hefty $1300 bill. Awful service. I would NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE. SHAME ON YOU ADT.

We have had no reason to change to another security company and so far, Reliance Protectron has been able to give us all the help we need. I'm sure we will be with Protectron for years to come.

I have been with Reliance Protectron since April of 2003. So far, I have had no problems with Reliance Protectron. The Protectron staff are always helpful and quick if there are any problems.

I have had no problems with my system or Reliance Protectron. The Protectron Staff are always quick to answer any questions I might have. I would recommend them to anyone who is thinking of getting an alarm system.

I have been with Reliance Protectron since August of 2012. I have had no issues with Reliance Protectron and the service has been great. I would definitely recommend Reliance Protectron to my friends and family.
