Very disappointed with ADT!
Had our system disconnected during a major house renovation and with the consult of the ADT tech. Our electrician moved our wired system to a new location. The cost was over 800.00 for the job plus repainting etc. When I called to book the re-installation of our existing system, the booking department said they no longer support our 6 yr old system and we need the new wireless one! The sales person said it would cost over 473.00 to install and would cost another 10.00 more a month to monitor. He later calls back and said that he thought it was a new account so the so-called discounts don't apply for the new installation and it would cost a lot more!!!!! No explanation needed here.... total incompetence... I made 3 requests to speak to an area manager and no one has returned my calls. This is how a company treats a 20 year plus client. I am so happy my contract is expired.... Another company can install a much more complicated wireless system for 50.00 and charge the same monthly costs as ADT's wireless... hope you have better luck with ADT....
