The service given by the members of Pro-Stone has been impeccable!

They always had time to talk to me (even though this was not a big project for them) and every question/concern was addressed courteously. I always made to feel welcome: right for the visit of the premise, to the help in choosing the best product (and staying within my budget),, to the service and assistance in finalizing the plans by Girish, to the prompt installation by a very professional team! The fact that my home is approximately 1 1/2 hour from Toronto was not even a problem!

Everything has been handled quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family (and of course you too).

MY REVISED REVIEW: My original review, was, I believe, honest. Circumstances have changed and this revised review reflects those changes. --- I elected to go with Pro Stone for a granite counter because of the glowing Homestars reviews and because Pro Stone's office is in East Toronto, close to my home. The salesman and my point of contact was Girish. Pro Stone's staff was friendly and helpful. The process was timely, and Pro Stone was everything people said until a problem which showed after the install. --- I did provide my own sink (stainless steel/undermount) to Girish together with a full size template for the cutout and a dimensioned scale drawing of the sink. --- On install day (NOV 2) the two installers (Pro Stone sub-contractors) were pleasant and polite. They quickly installed the counter, cleaned up, and left. 1 hour and 15 minutes from start to finish. --- The counter looked great – until closer inspection. That inspection revealed that the sink opening in the granite counter was not cut accurately, and the granite overhung the undermount sink reveal in a couple of places - by about 3/8”. For me, this ruined the overall appearance and left places for dirt to collect. . It would seemed that no one at Pro Stone had checked my sink or template against the counter during fabrication. It is not major work to resolve this defect. It just requires a grinding and re-polishing of the stone at the two spots to achieve the correct profile. It probably could have been fixed in a few minutes at Pro Stone's shop and in around an hour at my house - by a qualified person. --- I called Girish the same day (NOV. 2) and told him about the sink cutout problem and then the issue dragged on (replete with phone conversations, emails to Girish and Bal, and site visits by Pro Stone personnel) until NOV 21 when Pro Stone finally had 2 craftsmen come to my house and fix the issue to my complete satisfaction. The craftsmen did an immaculate job. --- In Summary: I was without the proper use of my kitchen for 18 days which did not please me. I fully understand that problems can occur but I think that Pro Stone could have been a lot more timely in resolving this issue. Timely resolution would have made this a 10 star review. --- HAVING SAID THAT, MY RE-WORKED COUNTER NOW LOOKS GREAT!

Had heard good stories about Prostone and they were very well priced so we opted to use them for our Kitchen Counter top install. Our Sales associate was Girish, and while we weren't overly happy with the entire sales process we felt it was worth it in order to get a quality counter top at a good price. Installers were on time, friendly and efficient and the counter top looked great upon first inspection. After allowing it to sit for the required amount of time I cleaned the surface only to find a small crack around the sink area. I immediately called Prostone who at first was not at all interested in hearing what I had to say and without actually looking at it told me there was nothing wrong. It was only once Prostone realized that they had not taken the second payment supposed to be paid the day before and that they were not getting paid until it was resolved did they begin to take itnerest in my issue. At that point in time the manager Bal came to my house and told me that it was not a big deal and he'd send someone to fill and polish it out. A couple days later a repair person arrived to remedy the issue, but once he was done the crack was still noticable, it had just been filled some what to match the colour. I once again told Girish and Bal that i was not satisfied with the result and wanted to know what they were willing to do to remedy the issue. I was told that in order for them to even consider discussing how to fix the issue I had to make the final payment or they were not discussing it. I once again told them that I would not be paying until I recieved a counter top that was not cracked at which point the stopped answering my attempts at contact and simply sent the outstanding balance to a credit agency. Seems Prostone is great up until the point that there is a problem at which point they just want their money and do not seem to care what your issue is.

Was Finally able to get a resolution after posting the initial review. Prostone saw the review and was not at all happy with it and agreed that if I removed the review they would give me a new counter. That being said I removed the review and set up a date to have the new counter installed. The day before when I'd normally expect to receive a call to confirm the appointment I received nothing so I called in to find out what the situation was and spoke to Girish. Girish had no answers other then the counter had yet to be cut and asked if they could install it after Christmas. Again appears they were more concerned with getting new business rather then fixing the issues of their current customers. I was finally able to get a new appointment and the the installers showed up on time and were very good again at removing the cracked counter and putting in a new one.

I guess the long and short of the story is that Homestars really works well and that I'd be a little hesitant to take the rating for Prostone at face value as it appears that they will buy your silence. Rating was originally a 2 but has been updated to a 5 as the counter looks great and the price was right, but the process and sales team was far less then desirable.

Prostone installed the countertops in my parents' kitchen and washroom and did a great job. So, when it came time to renovate our kitchen, Prostone was one of the first places we visited. We were pleased with the selection and the professional service from Girish. Measurements were taken by another very friendly staff person and in exactly 10 business days, our countertops were installed. We are very pleased with the result, the price we paid and would not hesitate to recommend Prostone to others.

We bought granite countertops from Pro Stone for both our kitchen and bathroom. The selection of stone was great and the staff where knowledgeable about their product.We dealt with Girish and he was very helpful! The installers did a great job in the kitchen. We did some shopping around and found the prices at Pro Stone were competitive. We would go back there again.

My counter is finally in and it looks really beautiful the pattern on the stone is unique. The guys at office was very helpful Ghrisham and Haran and Anna was always very pleasant and most helpful. The guys installing were professional and did the job very quickly. I am very happy with the job done and would recommend them highly.

Although we are in Hamilton, Pro Stone was recommended to us by our cabinet maker who had just renovated his own kitchen in Markham. Although their showroom was a trek for me, it was well worth it. Garish, Haran, Simon, and the team of professional installers were wonderful to work with. They even succeeded in their effort to give me the counter top for Thanksgiving by installing on Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend! I have renovated a kitchen before and the quality of Pro Stone's product is much better than my previous installation. I like it so much I would like to have them do my back spash!

Pro Stone was exceptional from start to finish. After comparing different companies within the GTA which provided granite countertops, I was blown away when I came across Pro Stone. They had a wide selection of granites; the thickness was by far the best. Let alone customer service and professionalism provided by Girish and Haran, was greatly appreciated, they listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. Completely explained the process, from the template to installation, everything was finished within 2 weeks.

Template - The measurements were taken by a laser, which provided the best accuracy, the technician was punctual and courteous.

Installation – The installation took a total of 1.5 hours, the gentlemen arrived on time and made sure the counter tops were installed and balanced to my liking. Also took the time to explain the care and when I should hook up the plumbing. They were Wonderful and Courteous, overall provided excellent Customer Service.

Once again Pro Stone was exceptional from Start to Finish. Thank you Pro Stone, my counter tops are beautiful!!!

After much research, we decided to go with Pro Stone. The installers were clean and courteous. Our experience from dealing with the receptionist to installation and everyone in between was great. They were very good at accommodations and answering any questions that we had.

Overall we believe that we selected the right people for our new kitchen.

Before contracting with Pro Stone, I went through quite a nightmare with another granite company. This other company was going to charge me an extra 40% if I wanted the L Shaped piece of the granite counter to be constructed in one single piece and not having to cut it and be attached with another piece of granite. This other company caused me so much stressed, I had to start searching for other quotes and thank goodness I found Pro Stone. From the start, Basim helped calmed me down and reassured me that it is not going to cost me an additional 40% for one single L shape piece. Then he went on to explain to me that Pro Stone offers 3cm thick slabs vs. 90% of the companies out there in the market place with 2cm. I must admit I didn't see the importance of thicker stone until the final product is in !! With 2cm from the other company, I would have gotten an edging profile that is glued on and then the need to add plywood on top of the cabinets before installation. With Pro Stone, no gluing is required on edging since the the CNC machines cuts the edging based on the thicker stone. This would have counted as an upgrade (20% more) at the other granite company but free of charge at Pro Stone but more importantly, I now have a thicker stone that is going to last me even longer ! Pro Stone also told me they would apply a 15 year sealant on my counter for free. The counter top was ready within 10 business days as they had promised and installers were so professional and courteous ensuring they clean everything up before they left. We are so happy with everything from Pro Stone and would encourage all to obtain a quote from Pro Stone before commiting with another company or lose the deposit like I did. In the end, I didn't need to settle and knowing that what Pro Stone provided me was the best quality and workmanship in the marketplace for the same price that other competitors with a lower quality product and higher costs !
