My husband and I purchased a townhouse from Primont in January 2015 and have just received word that our closing date is going to be extended for the second time. We purchased at the start of phase 2. First, I find it wrong that Primont can take $50,000 deposit from us on signing of contract, but we have to wait so long for our home. It's not right that Primont has all that money up front, which we could be investing and earning interest on as we wait forever for our home. Second, they've sold 3 phases of homes without even having a permit to build anything. Something seems wrong about that. Shame on the City of Vaughan for allowing this kind of thing to go on. In a side note, we've all purchased these homes based on artist renderings... Not even a model home to look at. It's unfortunate that this is what it's come to... It's a seller's market and we are at the mercy of these builders :S

Hi there thank you for taking the time to reach out. As we are not the developers on this project we are unfortunately at to mercy of the developer and the schedules they had given us before we went to market. It is not out interim to hold deposits for a couple of years. There is no advantage to us. We are anxious to begin construction and meet the new closing schedules as you have been updated on. In new construction is it regular Practise that a builder sells before receiving permits. There is a process to follow. It is also customary that there are no model homes in new developments. If you did not feel comfortable purchasing without seeing a model home that was your decision. Not reflection on the builder. The delays are not a reflection on our product and service. We will deliver you your beautiful home very shortly. In the meantime if you have any questions please call our customer service department. We will be keeping you posted as services begin. You can also follow us on our Facebook page where we will be posting about construction. Thank you
