Pratt Homes

Pratt Homes is the worst builder we had deal with. When we purchase a home form them, we decided to pay for a finish basement. Well, they decided to put the furnace in the middle of the basement which significantly reduced the living space we already paid to finish. We also paid for an upgrade of the house tiles and they put it in the wrong direction we asked. At the end we decided to leave and ask about our deposit after 3 years of waiting for the house. They send the deposit to the wrong address and after 2 weeks we went to the office to claim it and they implied that we cash it the check and that they will call the police. So disrespectful , arrogant. I will never, ever , ever will buy a house from them.

Sewer line needs replacement in home with no basement. Line is directly under supporting wall in center of house. All contractors in my area say it's unsafe to dig up without under pinning. Found an under pinning company and is going to cost$30,000 to fix due to location of sewer line. From front entrance to stairs to second level floor will be dug up including flooring and concrete slab the house sits on. Terrible location for a sewer line. A major flaw in design/engineering

Great experience with Pratt from the beginning with Ramzi at the initial sales meeting to joint discussions with Cynthia (VP) to calm first time buyer questions. Then through colour (design) selections with Jess, a big thank you for your patience and guidance. Having bought for first time in decades, on spec, absolutely delighted with our new condo. PDI, acceptance and initial 30 day list response had been great. Service team (Jenn, Andy and Sean) are awesome with timely, friendly and professional fixes and recommendations. Came into this first time experience with some trepidation given other friends learnings with other vendors. No doubts here, we found a winner and would not hesitate to recommend. Pratt handles the process with a personal touch that is not common these days.

My family and I have live in a Pratt home for the last 13 years. I recently had some upgrades completed and consulted with a Pratt representative for options and pricing. The team at Pratt provided contacts with local contractors that they rely on themselves. Pratt stands behind there products and provides warranty that they stand behind. I totally recommend Pratt homes.
