Poullis Renovations - No Longer in Business

Seems like a reasonable man but this took longer than what was promised and I was not pleased about this. His employees also were not helpful and often came across as rude. I was pretty upset overall with what services were given to me for the price...

Alan was a real pleasure to deal with. He came to the house and as we talked about my deck plans he made some excellent suggestions to improve the construction. We agreed on the price and set a date to do the work. He was punctual , did what he said he would and a bit more ! His crew was friendly and professional and when the job was completed the yard was cleaned up. No hesitation to reccommend him.

Alan and his team did a fantastic job. Very professional, enthusiastic and respectful.
The workmanship is great and our family truly enjoys the end product!!!!
I will use Alan again!!!

I have read some comments on Allan and would like to add my comments and experience , first let me start off by saying that I have developed a great relationship with Allen and became good friends since we met, he is truly a trustworthy contractor and I can't say that with the rest I have met in my time, he has done my hardwood flooring along with my kitchen backsplash and my fencing and I am VERY satisfied with his work, my next project is my basement and we are in the process of that as I speak, he's the type of contractor that you could leave alone in your house and trust him 100%, to me that's like family, if I was to move far away from where he is I would pay for his gas for the commute and let him stay over till the job was done! that's how much I trust him! his priceing is very reasonable, the work he does is amazing and I would suggest to anyone to call him and get an estimate, professionalism 10, work he does 10, all around 10.10,10!!! Thee was a time I had to go to work on a few occasions and I have left him alone for hours at a time , now that's a contractor I can trust!!

Alan is a great designer/contractor. He provided us with a unique design for our deck. He built it just on time as he promised and the results were much better than we expected, The deck looks gorgeous. Ever since the deck was finished, we have been complimented, by our friends and neighbors, on how great it looks and how suitable it is for our backyard. I would definitely recommend working with Alan - Poullis Renovations. Cheers

Started my job in early June 2012 and was not completed until August 2012. Allan said it would be completed in 3 weeks so 2 1/2 months was RIDICULOUS!!! He was only around 2-3 times a week as he had other jobs on the go, his help was so inexperienced and had absolutely nothing good to say about Allan. Last year I noticed my grout chipping but thought it was normal and then this year my whole staircase and planters he built have deteriorated. His work was sloppy not done the right way and now unfortunately after giving him $17,000 I have to pay someone else $3000 not even 2 years after his job. If you want a good, tidy, and "man of his word" contractor....DO NOT TRUST ALLAN!!!!

Me and my neighbours used this builder for our fences in our backyards in our new development.

The wooden fences are simple in style and provide necessary privacy. Some of the boards are a little crooked and a few nails were left exposed through the boards.

Overall the builder did a satisfactory job building the fence.
