The windows from Pollard have been nothing but poor quality.
Over half of the units have had a seal failure, and the mold in our window frame has been a constant concern. We have had to have 3 of the window cranks replaced as well.

Condensation on your windows is the first visible sign that the level of humidity in your home is too high. Excessive moisture will allow the growth of mold spores if not removed and if allowed to pool under the insulated glass unit will degrade the sealant.
Pollard Windows purchases window hardware such as the roto-gear mechanism for our casement windows from Truth Hardware. This is a well known, quality North American company. Typically if the roto-gear or "crank" requires replacement, it is because of excessive force.
Pollard Windows manufactures windows and doors that meet or exceed all current manufacturing standards established by the testing standard CAN A440-M90. This testing standard establishes benchmarks for performance. Pollard Windows also manufactures to the Energy Star standard.
