Pinewood Heating & Air Conditioning

Pinewood was recommended to us by a realtor we met at a dinner party nearly three years ago when we bought our first house. We've had numerous things worked on by them and each project has been outstanding.

2008 - Replaced a 30+ year old boiler with a modern boiler for heating our home. Initially we inquired about getting the most expensive, ultra high efficiency over the top boiler, but they helped us pick the right boiler based on our home, budget, project, and plans for the house. The boiler had a small issue shortly after installation and their service techs came out quickly to remedy it.

2009 - Helped us re and re three cast iron radiator heater units when I did the hardwood flooring on the ground floor.

2010 - Service call to clean/maintain the boiler.

2011 - Installed a commercial sized ductless air conditioner in my business/commercial space.

In all cases their sales team was extremely professional, helpful, and responsive. Quotes came fast, and scheduling was efficient. Installers come on time and are professional and tidy.

Go thru the Trane websit. Find several dealers. Lucas from Pinewood provided very detail information with reasonable price. He also responding to competitor quotes. No matter what time you call him, as long as you leave a message, he will call you back and answer all your questions. He arranges all the installation and let me worry free. The installation is good and the service is good. This is a small company that you can trust. Hoghly recommend this company to whoever need to install heating and AC.

They replaced our furnace and also we've recommended them to friends as well. Joe the President gave us excellent service and did not oversell their products - he recommended less than what we wanted. Very honest and after sale service (once a year check-up) is also excellent. Installation was done perfectly and would not hesitate to hire them again.

We were looking to replace our 15 yr old furnace with a new high efficiency one. We spoke with three vendors, one that was old-school in a not-so-good way, one who knew all the technical specs on the furnace but didn't know much about installation, and Pinewood who seemed to know both aspects, and was happy to spend the time to explain it all. All three were within $200 of one another, so it came down to the service element and the brand (Carrier).

The installation went smoothly and the after-service care appears to be good. We would caution, however, that the furnace is new and hasn't been tested by a winter. We will revise our comments if there are any issues.

It was cold winters night my furnace had kicked the bucket. I looked in the phone book and came across Pinewood I phoned for service and Jose had got someone to my home with-in one hour. The technician determined the furnace was not worth fixing due to its age and difficulty finding parts. We discussed pricing and I confirmed it all with Jose. He was very attentive to my needs. They left me with heaters for us to keep warm and were back at 8:00am replacing all the equipment. I was not only very grateful but very satisfied with the service and installation.
