I order a Dining Room table and chairs and was told that it should be ready 12 weeks, but will often come in quicker. Unfortunately, at 12 weeks I called and was told it wasn't ready; but should be soon. Admittedly, I wasn't a happy camper and might have been rather short with their staff, expectations and my follow up required, they could have been more proactive....
We arranged delivery when it was completed, but the builder wasn't available to deliver the table to the delivery company, and I was told that it would not be delivered that day after waiting for 2.5 hours...again none too happy. So we arranged delivery on a future date
Fast forward 1.5 weeks ( I was out of town ) the table and chairs are delivered as promised on the day I return and they picked up the tab for the delivery.
Ongoing it was a little frustrating, but in the end they did the right thing...and table is exactly as ordered and a beautiful addition to my home.

- What could this company do to improve their services?
- Set appropriate expectations at the time of deliver, no 'but it usually' comments and be more proactive with their customers. They should be calling me about delivery, I shouldn't have to be the one calling.
- Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
- Be aware that deliver dates are merely just estimates and expect that it will take longer when you are having furniture built to order. Much of my frustration could have been avoided if I didn't expect to get the table before leaving on vacation.
