I am writing a review because the job at my house driveway and some curb work was done rite-a follow up from Lou ask if I could post; they did the job rite. No problems

Driveway was re-paved a couple of years back. They did a terrible job. So bad, that I needed to completely rip out their so-called 'new' driveway within a year and get a much better company to do the job properly. From my experience you can find much better companies out there (I did). Take the time to look elsewhere to save yourself the headache of dealing with Pave Works. They do not stand behind the work that they do, will not remedy their mistakes, and once they have your money.. it is history. They are probably out of business by now..

Don't use this company. We had them do our driveway. They gave us a great price compared to other companies who had given us estimates. Goes to show...you get what you pay for. Less then a year has passed and already our driveway is bubbling, cracking, the gravel has worn through the asphalt. We've called them several times, our response "oh...we'll fix that up for you when our crews are in your neighbourhood."...that's been about 5 months now. They were here pretty fast for their money...not so fast to fix their poor workmanship. Find another company to do your driveway.

The funny thing is that I told Dave that I would write a review and he still sucked! They took forever to show up. They definitely didn't dig down far enough or lay enough gravel. The driveway had "bubbles" in it. I had to essentially harass them to come and fix it. They did seal it for free, but it still only looks okay. Find someone else. Sorry, Dave. You're a really nice guy, you just deliver a poor product.

We had our driveway paved in Nov 2007, and by March 2008, weeds started to grow through the asphalt, and continue to do so to this day. In May 2008, a 9ft crack had formed along the lenght of the driveway. I have emailed, and called this company but they have yet to return a call. For those considering this company, I would advise you to look elsewhere.

These guys put in a new driveway for me last summer. Within a couple of weeks, cracks and bubbles started to show and then weeds started to grow through the asphalt! I called them and they returned to do some patch repairs. Now this summer, I've got even more weeds breaking through the asphalt. I think I got shortchanged on the digging, gravel, and asphalt.

These guys are very awful. I signed a contract with them in early June to replace our driveway. They came by for about 20 minutes, broke my driveway and left. It has been more than 3 months, we are still waiting. I have left many phone messages, they don't return my calls. Even we I do get hold of them, they either hang up on me or quickly brush me off. Now they are asking for more money to fix the driveway that they broke. How dare they? Don't ever use Paveworks.

I signed a contract with Paveworks in late June and was told they could complete the work in 3-4 weeks. It is now 7 weeks later and I haven't heard back from them, even after trying repeatedly to get in contact. Not sure what to do now, I'd prefer to get my deposit back but I don't know if I'll be able to...

I hired these guys in August 2005 to widen our 20 foot driveway by 3 feet. They did not come to do the work until December of 2005. I paid them in full and they simply sprinkled a 2 cm layer of asphalt and left. They didn't dig or create a base for the paving. Now that the warmer weather is back grass is growing through the lousey layer of asphalt they have put down. We are now in July of 2006 and they still haven't returned. These guys have ruined the look of our home.

My husband worked with the owner to discuss the driveway; expanding into a double drive. We were given a good price vs. other quotes however not sure the amount of crushed stone to actaul ashpalt was thick enough. Although my husband was told we would have ample space to park both cars; it is tight. Overall an average job.
