Pavestar Paving

Pavestar dug out old driveway, replaced new asphalt, with an interlock border. Fantastic work, highly recommend.

Receiving a quote and a response from pavestar as to how long and how efficient the paving job would be on my driveway was amazing. The owner and workers were super nice, hard working and handled the job with care and precision. I was extremely happy with the outcome and will absolutely refer to friends and family.

Unfortunately, I have to revise this review.

Within two months a large two-meter crack appeared, and although Sammy came by to fix this by reheating the asphalt with a large propane torch, within months several new cracks appeared. Now the original crack has reappeared and is much larger, extending from one side of the two-lane driveway to the other and almost to the end of the driveway, about 10 meters in length.

Although I paid extra for thicker asphalt, I suspect if I drill down with a 1/4 drill, the depth will be much less than the expected 3 " or 2.5" compressed asphalt.

At the current rate of cracks appearing, this driveway will not last much longer than 4 or 5 years before it has to be redone. Better to pay a few extra $1,000 and get your driveway done properly by a proven company.

I was very impressed with the prep work and the pro job paving great teamwork and nice clean up highly recommended the time line was just as they said also .

RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN. You cannot trust anything that this company says. Their workmanship is poor and they do not respond to any customer service calls. They take advantage of senior citizens and only want CASH. I hope the CRA is investigating them.
