I hired Alia for a number of different jobs around the house. On his first visit I showed him everything that needed to be done, and we reviewed each item individually. He then gave me a quote to get all the items done, to which I agreed, then he started. That's when the disaster started. He complained at each step of the way, then said a number of the items couldn't be done, or that's not what he agreed to and didn't do them. He had a young helper that was very nice, but he was constantly arguing with and yelling at, often about money. He also fried the motor on an item he was supposed to install, and also couldn't replace an electrical switch that he had previously said would be no problem. I am now left with wires running to nothing since he said it was my electrical that was the problem (I'd never had a problem with it for 4 years since living here, just wanted a different switch), didn't do a number of items he was supposed to, and he also damaged some new items that he was supposed to install by his careless handling of them. I wasn't going to bother to review him, but some very simple shelves that he installed have just collapsed. I now see that he never used any anchors in the walls and just used drywall screws....incredibly unprofessional and poor work. I now have to pay someone else to finish what he didn't finish or fix the items that he damaged. BEWARE and find someone else.
