We went to Pacific Flooring to have new hardwood flooring put into our home, and it has been the most horribly stressful experience for us.Rob,the salesman who sold us the flooring and measured the space, had made a mistake in calculating the amount of work to be done. We were told that there was going to be an extra charge for the work. Ken,the manager, told us that he would charge us only 1/2 that, but this was under the condition that the work was to be started on that day. We also ordered a set of tiles which was not put in the work order (but was charged to us anyway). When the installers realized all of this, they left the house to talk to Rob about the tiles and to pick up extra materials and never came back. We tried to contact the store at least 8 times to book an alternate date for the installation, and to let them know that we would not be paying the extra because they did not fulfill the condition. We were told everytime that someone would get back to us but no one ever did. The job was finally done 2 weeks later, but we were charged the full amount, as well as the extra without notification and before the installers had even set foot into the house. We tried to contact Ken to speak to him about this, but he was nowhere to be found. We had to resort to calling Visa to have them cancel the extra, which could take up to a month to do. The people we dealt with were unreliable, but more importantly, they were unprofessional. We will never give them our business again.
