I hired Northwood to convert from oil to gas. Gary Landry came to the house and looked over everything relating to the HVAC system, he explained the work that needed to be done and provided an accurate estimate. When the brothers Landry and their apprentice finished the installation they explained how the various systems work and the maintenance requirements.
They did a great job fitting a lot equipment into a really small space. They carefully thought out the layout of the equipment and vents to maximize the use of space but still leave room for maintenance access.
The guys were very accommodating. I requested additional equipment be added to the system after they already began installing the furnace. They immediately acquired installed the equipment. Northwood is the only contractor that I didn't have to clean up after. They used drop cloths to contain the mess caused by disposal of the old oil furnace and tank. They washed the floors and cleaned everything before they left, they even cleaned up garbage left behind by different contractor.
A Direct Energy representative said that he was impressed with Northwood's work. If I had to pick about something, it would be that the office was slow to response to my inquiries. I've had a lot of contractors running through the house lately, Northwood Heating was the best. I highly recommend Northwood Heating & Air Conditioning.
