Warning regarding Noble moving company-DO NOT OVERLOOK THIS REVIEW!!
The reason why I am STRONGLY advising NOT TO HIRE NOBLE MOVING COMPANY, is the horryfying experience my family had with them. This is a fraud company and should be investigated further. They have 58 complaints closed with BBB in the last 3 years and 44 of them are in the last 12 months. They had 5 complaints in the last 3 weeks. Think about that!!
Our Experience:
1) They showed up at our house 2 days late for pick up; we had packed evverything and taken the day off work but we waited and nobody came, called them, and Alper (owner) didn`t even apologize, he was laughing about it and told us that they decided to come two days later. We had to postpone our depurture and go to a hotel for those two days.
2) we were told (written contract) that our belongings would arrive 7-10 days at Duncan BC. We waited on the 10th day but nobody showed up. We called and they DID NOT TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT ANYTHING! Made excuses why they didn`t inform us, and it was the worst phone call me and my husband have had in our lives.
We were told that they would arrive after 1 week. We have a 1 year old baby and had been sleeping on the floor for several days. Also because we believed them when they said they would deliver after 10 days, we had send everything we had with them.
Nobody showed up after 1 week as well. Called them several times, and they never answered. We started a complaint with BBB after that.
Finally when they took our call, they said that they did not know where our belongings were and they didn`t care. From our research we found out that they are not the ones moving the belongings, they send them by train, and there is another company here that picks up and delivers.
We called the second company and we believe that Noble had told them to tell us that they dont have our stuff, because we kept calling and they say that they dont know anything about us!
We called the police right away. As soon as we mentioned this issue, the "manager" took the call and said exactly these words " Please don`t call the police, we have your stuff and will deliver as soon as possible". Said that would come saturday ( already 20 days of sleeping on the floor). Of course the bill was 3000 more than our estimate on the written contract they gave us originally. My husband wanted to weigh our stuff again and they would not let us. finally they said yes and of course our stuff did not weigh more than the estimate. We requested a new bill, they send it after 3 hours wait. We finally brought back the stuff in the apartment, many of them damaged, bedroom set, kitchen table, bar BQ. We wrote them on the report and also videotaped the whole procedure, starting from weighing the truck. But of course they will not refund for the damage.
If you do care about your family, your belongings and the memories you have in there, DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!! Do not get tricked by few positive reviews that you might see here and there. Companies which you trust everything that you own, should not be good for a few and bad for the majority, it should be the other way around. And do not read the reviews they have on their website, they might not be true.
We didn`t have much time to investigate before we hired them, but we deeply regret that we didn`t read about the sad and furstrating experiences many families had with this unscrupulous company.
When it comes to your family, do not negotiate for unsafety, unproffessionalism. You might think that you will pay less with them but you are mistaken, they will find a way to take more money back from you!!!
They might close down in a few months, but be careful that they might open under a different name!!!
