1 great experience and 1 horrible one
I've used Moveworks twice now. The first time the company they contracted out to us were fabulous -- showed up early, got the job done in record time and with no damage. Michael's quote was fair and he took the time to tell us how we could speed up our move and save money at the end of the day too. We've since then recommended Moveworks to tons of family and friends since that great experience. The second time however was horrid. They sent us a company that was completely unprofessional -- cursing, complaining, broken furniture/fixtures, disappeared for a good hour in between travel (which was less than ~20 mins) and we were overcharged. We tried calling/emailing Moveworks on the day of our move but no one picked up/responded to us, so we paid the bill presented. Upon speaking with Ann a few days later we were promised a return of $410 back for the broken fixtures and overpayment. It took a solid 2 months (with plenty of calls, voicemails left and little to no response). We gave them the benefit of the doubt that the reimbursement for this poor service would come, and after a final attempt (of many) we finally received the reimbursement. A little disappointed that it took so long.
I've increased the star rating since I was pleased with their service the 1st time we used them. I hope the guys we were assigned the 2nd time are no longer on Moveworks' roster though.

I apologize for the delay in this matter. We have sent out the $410.00. I do not know why it was not delivered. I am sending another cheque today and this customer will have it by Friday or Monday. We have just moved our office and there was difficulty with the phone service because of a damaged cable. The lines are working now and I actually spoke with this customer this morning and assured her that her cheque will be received.
Again, we regret the delay.
