Megacity Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd (An Essential Service Company during Covid19)

My family and I have been clients of MegaCity for over 25 years. When we had our Toronto home, they installed 3 furnaces & 2 AC units during that time and they functioned great, only needed to be replaced when they reached the end of their life cycle.

When I purchased my home in Hamilton in July, once again I had MegaCity install a new furnace, AC unit and tankless water heater for me. Once again everything is working perfectly. Please feel comfortable in allowing MegaCity to look after your family home the same way they have looked after my family home.

After using Megacity for replacing our furnace in 2022, they were our first call when we needed to replace the air conditioning unit as well.

Similar to our prior experience, they were easy to deal with before, during, and after the work was done. AC has been working great and would easily recommended Megacity...again!

Megacity did us right when our AC went down, then when they inspected our furnace. Technician Tony and his helper were great at hooking up our natural gas BBQ and installing a new furnace. Appreciate the security of knowing that Tony and the Megacity team back up their work.

Great experience with A/C installation to replace broken A/C. Same day service (Friday evening) was greatly appreciated given the high temperatures we have been experiencing. Mark and Glen provided exceptional and polite service including answering questions we had regarding use and maintenance of the new A/C system.

Had Mega City come by and check out my old A/C turns out I needed a new since the unit I had was from the early 90's. They came same day to inspect my old one and by the next day I had my brand nee unit installed. I couldn't believe in less than 24 hours me and my family were back in business. I got a ducane furnace, lennox ac and navien tankless system installed in May 2024. I got a few quotes but ended up going with Megacity because of the responsiveness, reviews and proximity to me. I always hear that with hvac installs the importance is the installer vs the equipment, so I wanted someone who's worked in old Toronto houses.

My AC unit died and was 20+ years old - had an old furnace and big ol' hot water tank. So it was time to upgrade everything - it was a good run. I called Tony on Friday evening and he picked up. He had Dave come out the next morning at 9am and do a quote. Dave was great - I asked him a bunch of questions on the equipment, why they would choose specific brands and types of equipment and he was happy to answer all my questions. He quoted all the specific models so I could search them up after and see what the reviews were.

Ram came the following Thursday for the install. They were a little delayed getting going, but I got a call from Tony saying they were delayed and when to expect folks to come. Ram was at my house from noon until 11pm - there were a few hiccups on the install and getting the ac working, but Ram wanted to make sure everything was working fine when he left - which it was. They cleaned up all the old equipment, cardboard and gear and carted it away.

Tony followed up to make sure I was happy and said they would swing out prior to the fall to make sure the furnace is working no problem.

It is tough to fine folks that you can trust are pros and will do the job right - I felt great with my experience with the folks at Megacity. Definitely recommend them.

Polite, prompt service. Great clean-up. My wife and I have used Megacity for many years including original heating systems and new air conditioning systems, products and installation. Always on time always courteous.
