Tom from Mega City came highly recommended for a reason. We contracted Tom to replace the shingles on our house and garage roof. They did a fantastic job. Tom and crew arrived promptly at 7:30am and made all efforts to cover the surrounding area, air conditioner and shrubs before proceeding. By 5:30pm they had finished and cleaned up. Considering the amount of debris, we never came across one nail. The crew did a great job. Tom takes his work seriously and inspected the quality of work throughout the day. He uses quality material and does not cut corners. Considering our overall experience, the quality of the finished job and his reasonable rate, my husband and I would not hesitate to recommend Tom.

Tom and his crew came immidiatley do the work and fixed my house and previously very badly done flat roof. Tom went up on the roof right away before the job was done to secure loose shingles before the next rain storm. Crew and Tom did work fast and
good customer service. answering my questions. They came back promptly as promised to replace flashing after two months. it was delayed until chimney was repaired.

We had our roof replaced because we were having leaking of our flat roof because two roofers left us with a leak and the last one his follow up # was out of service when we tried to call with the leak. So we found Mega city roofing on Home stars and had them nervousley replace the flat roof in the fall of 2011 and also the main house as they said it needed redone as well. After we had one problem the flat roof started soon after leaking but in a different location from before. So I called Tom Geo the owner and much to his credit came to investigate that very week. He had his men fix the scupper(sp?) but the next rain fall it leaked again. So this has been going on since the roof was done in 2011 but I never put in a reveiw as I was waiting till it was fixed. Its not fixed yet to my knowledge but we moved and left that headache behind. The new owners are putting an addition on top of the flat roof so hopefully that will solve the problem. So much to Toms credit, each time I called him with the SAME problem he came to try to solve it, most would have not responded or told me to stop calling. The rest of the roof seems OK.

Tom has been my supportive, trustworthy friend and roofer for a few years. I get only his quote each time because he is someone who stands by his work and word. He put all the screening around the perimeters of my home which eliminates the need for future eavestrough cleaning

My husband and I highly recommend Tom Geo of Mega City Roofing, for his highly professional and attractive job on our roof. Tom and crew had just done a great job on our neighbour’s house. He squeezed us in early in the queue as we had damage on our roof- you see the previous times, we got the cheapest offer, which proved to be the most expensive. Previous shoddy workmanship and errors had led to leakage, rot, and flying shingles.
Tom and a crew of 8 professional roofers plus a crew boss showed up as scheduled at 7:30 am on a blazing hot day. The team clearly had been long together, and they had the best gear, including safety equipment. Tarps soon surrounded our house, onto which old shingles and nails, were quickly dropped, with the old warped strips of 3/8 inch plywood going into a bin. The joists were still sound. In short order, the existing fibre glass insulation was cleared from the soffits, and the entire roof was covered with 4 foot by 8 foot ½ inch sheets of new plywood. They used top quality fibreglass shingles and vents, repositioning the vents to more appropriate places, plus added 2 whirlybirds, as ventilation is essential for an efficient roof. We have a complex roof, but that was not a problem. They had done much more complicated work, as Tom showed us in photos. They were so well organized and proficient, their big crew had the job finished in less than two days, including a complete cleanup.
We also needed the new, modern, fully vented soffits, plus new eavestroughs designed to fit the current drainage standards required. Tom recommended a company he often works with for that, Marcel Drake of C & C Aluminum, so he arrived next. Marcel added LeafGuard to the eavestroughs as well to prevent plugging problems , which also added structural reinforcement.
So now we have a 10 year warranty on everything, plus an even longer GAF warranty on the shingles. And that includes Tom and Marcel personally coming and fixing it, as a matter of professional pride, in the highly unlikely event that is ever needed. Our top recommendation!

What can I say. They work like a top notch hockey team. Simply fabulous! Tom and Roman are fantastic guys to deal with, offer top notch customer service and their crew is fantastic. Did my roof in less than a day, looks great.

Tom came to my house promptly when I called in 2008 to do my flat roof and now again to do my Shingles. Very pleasant to speak with and very punctual. We agreed on a time in August to have my shingles replaced but then Toronto flooded and my roof leaked. He made sure we had a tarp put up the next day and fit me in the very next week to do the roof. His crew left the premises very clean. I would highly recommend this company
