When nothing was going down our drains and toilets we knew there was something bad going on. We called the city, who did a camera inspection, revealing roots amongst other blockages in the main pipe leading out to the city sewer line. Bad news was that we were told that wed have to hire an independent plumber to clean out the drain, as it was still on our property - and this was on a Friday evening of the May long weekend! I checked a number of plumbers online and on Homestars and was shocked to see that a number of them charge $300+ just to put a camera down the drain! I saw Maydays info and gave them a call. I was surprised to get a call back less than an hour later from Roy Gibson, the owner. He answered my questions and committed to coming the next morning. When he arrived the next day we went about his business in a thorough, courteous, honest and professional manner, explaining everything he was doing and what his recommendations were, as well as contingencies in case he was not able to bust through the blockages. Fortunately, Roy was able to clean out 95% of the roots and everything flowed beautifully afterward. Best of all was his price - tremendous value for a job well-executed.
