Mayday Drain Services

Upon discovery of a floor drain backup in the basement, I called several of the top rated contractors listed in Homestars.com. Most of my concerns where either passed on to a receptionist or a paging service so it was difficult to determine what to expect in terms of service and cost. When I called Mayday, the service technician (Roy Gibson) answered the phone. He asked pertinent questions regarding the actual problem in order to give me an estimate over the phone. He arrived quickly and managed to work in a very confined space. With the building being a century old Roy really had his work cut out for him but he never gave up. After running his electric snake through the house he proceeded to do the same outside and determined that the problem was actually in the middle of the street. He further confirmed the actual blockage with his camera. Even though he spent more time on this job than he could have foreseen, he still only charged the original estimate amount quoted over the phone. Saved a substantial amount of money by hiring Mayday!
