Unhappy with Mattamy Builders. Salesperson never told us we would not get a full grass lawn. We were disgusted on walk through to find mostly dirt and useless pine needle mulch for a lawn. They use the excuse that St.Johns County FL only requires they plant grass on 50% of lot around house. Funny how she never mentioned that ever!! Salesperson had us fill out house cable/elect outlets, patio door on a reversed house plan, so my patio door I signed off on ended up on the wrong side because she did not realize it was a reverse diagram of house. Mattamy refused to correct it. Numerous problems with workmanship throughout the house. New supervisor who was not trained properly. Doors that do not close properly, stains on tile, concrete etc. I could go on and on. Would not recommend this builder ever. Customer service is terrible. They hire cheap crews to do the work and some of these crews take things from people living in the neighborhood such as electricity and water. If your not home the crews could be using your electric and water supply. Or taking items from your yard. If you do not like a headache, do not build with Mattamy!!!
