Rear stone planter, patio path and garden
Mark Goger designed and built a patio path and stone planter for me in a hard to reach and difficult to access spot. How he actually got his materials to the area is something I still marvel at. I have a reverse backyard up a steep driveway and a two tired deck. All of which had to be travelled over for the stone to get to where it needed to be.
Mark took what was a wasteland at the end of the deck and transformed it into a place of light and space. He literally took what was the worst part of the garden and turned it into something you can't wait to be in.
I had asked Mark to work for me after seeing pictures of his work with flagstone and cobble. My own patio incorporates the use of cobble and it is a feature I treasure. I also asked him to work for me because of the reviews I read. It was clear that Mark had created something unique for his customers and his integrity and craftsmanship had genuinely moved them. I have now joined their company. Mark's work emerges out of a relationship both with the space he's given to work with, the land itself and you the customer. The result is something utterly creative and individual to you his customer.
If I'm totally honest Mark is one of those people you almost want to keep a secret and not share with anyone, except that is obviously neither fair or practical.
I must add that I also hugely benefitted from the work of his gardening associate Jeanette, who with her own flair created a garden for me around Marks work. The experience of working with Mark and Jeanette is not one I will soon forget and one I am already looking for an opportunity to repeat.
Thank you Mark and Jeanette. So very grateful

Thank you, Kate. The feeling of appreciation is mutual. Your openness and trust played a huge part in making the very challenging . . . almost easy !
The pleasure of finding a nice solution for an interesting locale (square cut flagstone and old world natural cobble stones within a rectangular and triangular space?!) was easily matched by the pleasure I found working with you.
My best wishes for '22!
