Full two floor reno painting, base boards, and electrical.
I hired David Livingstone Design to complete a checklist of home repairs. The singed agreement stated that I was to pay for 8 hour days with 2 men as well as all materials required. A 3 week renovation turned into months, David rarely showed, and the second person was unskilled at most of the tasks required. As such, the majority of the work was well below any reasonable standard of workmanship. Once he collected the majority of the monies owed, he simply abandoned the project and told me to have it finished myself. I had to hire a contractor to complete his work and to redo all the below standard items such as: painting, baseboards, damaged faucet, tile backsplash…The $900 I still owed did nothing against the $3000 I had to spend to complete this renovation. “DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY” as he will take the money and run or hire a kid to do all the work without any supervision on his part. We had many communications one he would say see ya tomorrow, than he could not make until later and than not coming!!!! Happaned many times and he himself had no idea what was left to do in our house because he went a month with out actually coming inside. He is full of it and should not be allowed to oprerate a business. MANY OF OUR COMMUNCATIONS WERE DONE BY MESSAGE AND HE DID NOT EVER STAND BEHIND HIS WORK OR CONTRACT WHICH WAS NEVER COMPLETED. WE HAVE HERE A CONTRACTOR WHICH DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HIS CLIENTS. IF YOU READ THIS CONTACT ME AND I WILL TELL THE TRUE SORY. HOW DO GUYS LIKE THIS SLEEP AT NIGHT. OUT $3000.00 EXTRA DOLLARS TO COMPLETE HIS WORK. IF YOU REQUIRE A GOOD CONTRCTOR HAVE ONE OF THOSE NOW AND HIRED HIM MYSELF. NOT ANY SUBCONTRACTORS OF THE DAVID LIVINGSTONE GROUP OF BULL ARTISTS!!!!

As you can see by the various responses this person is not stable. One minute/day everything is great and the work is fantastic and the next day they're not. We have been praised on many occasions on the quality of the workmanship on this project. The contractor that he "hired" was one of my subcontractors that I arranged. This client agreed to hire and suggested it may be best to alleviate both of our situations. I ran out of time and offered to come back and finish but the client declined. His remarks are from frustration and the additional costs that he agreed to pay to have work fixed that was totally acceptable. Again, one review says we're great and the next says otherwise. I have extensive correspondence that shows how involved and courteous me and my team were for this client...Additional work was requested beyond the initial scope that caused a timing delay. Sometimes in contracting things happen...It may have been better to decline the additional work due to my scheduling conflict, but as always, we try to satisfy all clients, not matter how demanding they may be !!!
