Follow-up work on previous job
We had all 10 windows and a patio door replaced in our home between 2009-2010. Overall, we were very happy with the product and service we received. However, we have one window in an upstairs bedroom that is letting in a fair bit of cold air. We noticed it last year, but didn't realize it was the window until this year. We called Lifestyle to see if they could take a look at it, and have had no response from them. We've called about 6 times since the beginning of December 2016, and have received one message where they told us this likely wasn't covered under warranty and that they couldn't find us in their system. I don't care that the warranty may have passed, but I'm surprised they have no record of the work they did on our house--I have all of the receipts. I simply want someone to come look at the window and fix it. We've called them back 3 times since that message and have had no response. Lifestyle promotes their long warranty on their products, but we're extremely disappointed in the response we've received on maintenance. When we were shopping for windows, we certainly had no problem getting a call back from them. Although we're happy with the product and work overall--we were even thinking of getting them to redo our siding before this--I would hesitate to work with them again when they won't follow-up with their customers.
UPDATE: Lifestyle ended up contacting us, thanks to this review. They did find us in their system, and they came to look at our window. Turns out there was a defect. They thought it might correct itself over last winter, but it didn't. They replaced the window this year, free of charge. I appreciate them following through, even though it did take a long time to happen.
