Juffs Roofing Ltd

I spoke with quite a few companies in Toronto and I decided that I wanted to find someone if possible who would give me a high quality product and a string warranty. As a single parent family cost was a key factor and a roof is not cheap. I liked the salesman and felt he provided me with good advice (there's a lot to lean about when it comes to roofing). Once I gave the deposit, I didn't hear from them for around 6 to 8 weeks. When I did contact them I was told was next 'on the boards ' and that someone was going to call me that week. Fine. They came, did the job, crew seemed fine and were pleasant although they took longer than they had said. When they left though they left my porch light dangling from it's fixture and my lawn had been flattened plus the soffits hadn't been done. I left a few messages and eventually was told again that I was 'next on the boards' but have to say by this point I didn't have confidence in this. I received an invoice in december but no word on the certainteed warranty and no one has called me back about the lawn damage (the soffits person did fix my light). I have left many messages and am not impressed at all. On their invoice they state that referrals are 'greatly appreciated'- their poor customer service (am assuming the roof itself is ok although as a consumer this is hard to gauge) has led me go think they were all about the sales pitch. I strongly suggest you proceed carefully with this company, perhaps I am easy to ignore as a woman but I am at a loss at the way they have handled this situation.
