The guy left approx 2 hrs ago, and Im still steaming. Simple removal of the old and installation of the new that I provided. Supply line hook ups were compatible. They will not quote on the phone and they insist that the service man will quote when they arrive and the price is guaranteed. The guy brinbgs out a book of standard charges..I bit the bullet because I needed it done. he was finished in 40 mins. Did not lay plumbers putty under the unit, and he claims he couldnt tighten it all the way down as he would have stripped the locking nuts on the underside.
I asked how much to instal a new toilet same price...200 bucks plus all the other crap.
Their price points speaks volumes exactly what this company is all about...shaft the vulernable.

- For the simple projects, do not utilize larger companies like this, use a handyman who you can pay cash.Get a ball park quote over the phone, and don't fall prey to insisting that they wont provide you that unless the plumber is there.Do not be dazzled by the fact they were showcased on an HGTV home improvement show, and they have the HGTV logo on their truck.They may have had to pay the appearance fee themselves
