Took 9 weeks, one week after a last minute cancellation to deliver a bed made in Bolton to Toronto. Manufacturer cut the wrong size supports, so installer had to return to factory. Came back two days later to finish and broke a slat that didn't fit properly. Back to the manufacturer for a new slat. No apologies, no discounts from the owner. First night we slept in bed it sounded like an old rusty bedspring. Rails didn't fit head and footboards tightly. Went to store and explained to owner. His response "You get what you pay for....no way you're getting a refund. That was the cheapest item we had in stock". I didn't know that an 1800 dollar bed was Sally Ann quality. My bad. That was last weekend. This weekend, he shows up with the installer. Swaps the rails from side to side. Still loose. Removes the brackets and realigns them. Still loose. Says he's solved the problem. I ask him for an invoice that I can annotate. He writes comments. I add my explanation of what has happened. State I will expect a refund if noise problem not fixed. He turns to leave, without offering me a copy or signing off. I insist he write another copy. He does but refuses to sign, saying "I told you in the store you're not getting a refund". Noise is worse than before.

I went to this store because of reviews on this site, and I purchased a few lamps, a steel console, 2 steel side tables and a steel coffee table and I did not have any problems. The items were significantly cheaper than other stores and in-stock. I actually had the items delivered to the King Street store where one of the sales associates helped me put into my very tiny car…I did not even have to ask! Overall it was good service and I would recommend this place.

My husband and I purchase a couple of stand up floor model pieces. We were told because we purchased the floor model, they could not assist us with the packaging or moving of the products from the store to the front door. My husband and I were left to our own resources to package and carry the product right there on the floor and move it out of the store ourselves. When we asked to speak to the store manager to inquire about the store policy in providing assistance to these types of purchases, the manager told us they can not help as they are not covered by Workman"s Compensation!!!!

I recently took possession of my home after 3 months of waiting, so I had been reading all the design magazines and design websites for furniture ideas and what and where I should be buying my furniture. However, I had never read or heard about this store, but you cannot miss the impressive brick building on King East. At first I was not sure about buying here, because I had never heard about them, but once I compared the prices and quality of the items I needed, with those of others stores, I changed my mind. I was very pleased with the service and the quality of the products. Initially I ended up getting three bedroom sets and 2 sofa sets (which were already scotchguarded – I thought this was great since it saved me about $800), and these were all delivered within 3 weeks. On my second visit I got a solid wood media unit and a dining room set. I must have spent about $23,000 and I had a good shopping experience. I would definitely recommend this place.

I was intrigued at shopping at this store because it was owned and operated by two of my fellow University of Waterloo Alumni. This store is great and the products are always changing. I purchased my bedroom furniture (Made in Canada) which said 4-6 weeks delivery and I received it in 2 weeks. I purchased a custom made sofa, which was made in Toronto, and it came in 3 weeks early! And just recently I purchased an entertainment unit which had a lead time of 6-8 weeks and I received it in 2 weeks. The customer service is excellent, great quality products, very reasonably priced and the sale people are not pushy!! I spent almost $12,000 at this store and it was well worth it! The one thing which stood out is that many of their products are made in Italy, Canada or the US. Good job boys!

Salesperson is very knowledgeable, very friendly and pleasant. The owner is very approachable and friendly. The delivery is very prompt and everything is put in the room we want it in.
