I have previously referred my customers to iMove for their packing and moving needs and this time we were moving our own household. Since i am always busy at work and my wife is expecting a baby, we went with a full pack and move option. Most of the packing was done several days prior to the move date with eventual moving day set for mid-week. Our crew was punctual, careful and attentive to our needs. Everything was moved in one full day as expected. We received the service we expected and are very pleased with the outcome. Thank you.

I wanted to stop by and say thanks for a job well done. Your guys were very professional in moving all our belongings in the allocated time with absolutely no damage. Our move took a whole day as we had a lot to move. We are very happy with how everything was handled, from the initial on-site estimate, to our final box at the new house.

I hired imove for my move September 1st, the movers showed up 3 hours late. Every time I called they would tell me they were stuck in traffic. The new tenants who were moving in were also stuck waiting with me. When they finally showed up I told them I was not comfortable signing the contract until I spoke to a manager. The mover’s barely spoke English and were extremely difficult to deal with. The manager was no better. After about 45 mins of arguing with the movers they agreed to remove the $70 travel fee. Also there was a lot more to the price than what I was first quoted with, $30 for fuel, $70 for travel, $35/ half hour, plus tax. Once we started moving the new tenants helped me because the movers were so slow and I was running out of time, since the elevator I booked in the new building was expiring at 4pm. Halfway through moving my things into my new apartment they stopped and told me I had to pay them now otherwise they wouldn’t continue. When I called the manager to discuss this, he told me he was busy and couldn’t talk. There was still about 1 hour left of moving and I had no clue why they were giving me an ultimatum. So either I sat there and waited for the manager to have some free time, or pay more money since they had stopped moving my things. In total my move cost me $275 even though they were three hours late and I ended up paying for the time that I was arguing with them before the move. I am a single female who was looking for an easy move since I had no one to help and ended up paying for a service I wasn’t given with no explanation.

I would like to thank iMove and their team for a job well done. The guys were efficient, did not take any breaks and moved everything without damage. My grandfather clock was well protected, just as all other delicate items i was concerned about.

I will recommend iMove to all my friends and family. It was a very pleasant moving experience.

We were very pleased with the service iMove provided during our recent move in Streetsville. Our move involved an upright piano and the guys were very professional in handling all our goods safely and efficiently.

Long story short, our scheduled movers did not arrive on the moving day and we were left stranded with 2 bedrooms worth of furniture. We were supposed to vacate the place by 2pm, and with no rental truck to be found anywhere due to end of month mayhem we started calling other local companies.

I was surprised as to how rude some of the companies were and offered last minute service at outrageous rates.
After calling a few places I stumbled across iMove who are located within close distance of my old apartment at Sherway gardens. The crew showed up within an hour of placing my order and provided me with a very competitve rate. The 3 man crew moved everything within our remaining elevator time and we managed to clean up the place before new owners arrived. While the overall experience of my move could have been better, iMove did what they could to ensure moving day ends on a positive note.

I have moved a lot of times in my 45 years and out of 10 or so companies i have to say my experience with iMove is amongst the top 3. The crew was professional, on time and did not damage anything.

I had the guys help me with packing a day before as my back problem is taking it's toll. It took just over 2 hours to pack all my fragile items and saved me a lot of hassle. The wardrobe boxes came in handy as I have a lot of suits.

All in all I am a very satisfied camper. Will recommend this service to my friends! Thank you, Terry.

Contacted iMove as usual choice of movers was not available in a pretty compressed timeframe. Andrew visited the property being moved out of and provided a quote. Moving day arrived and so did the movers - the three man crew as promised, including Andrew. I've a lot of heavy furniture and the guys managed them all very well with no scratches or breakage. Move-in was tough as a lot of that heavy furniture had to go up a narrow staircase and again everything was managed with extreme care. It was a full day's work and then some for everyone concerned other than me, all of which was done with good humour, all the signs of a great moving company. Overall time taken was longer than anticipated but I will always take that over faster with breakage, and Andrew was good enough to knock an hour off the time anyway. Certain to recommend.
