I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone looking for lawn maintenance. The very first time they came out back in April and I happened to be home, I knew it wasn't going to be worth our while. The "technician," knew nothing about lawns after asking him several questions on what needed to be done or how to maintain it. He spent all of 2 minutes flat before he left. After calling and complaining, they sent out another "technician" who knew a little more than the last. Since then, we've let them do their thing - aeration, seeding, fertilizer, weed control. My lawn, despite looking green, has so many weeds growing in the backyard it is a mess! Even after their so-called "weed control," it looks as if nothing was done. These weeds honestly look like small trees! In addition, our grass in the back is patchy and nowhere near as nice as our neighbours. I knew I wasn't going to be happy with this service from the get-go, but as they make you pay upfront at the beginning with no refunds, I really had no choice this year. I will not be using them again, nor recommending them to my neighbours/friends. I see a lot of these lawn maintenance companies out on our street. Yesterday I watched another service at our neighbours house, and they too spent a very short time on each house, probably in a rush to fill their quota and get to the next residence. If you want a nice lawn, invest in a good gardener to do everything. That's what I'll be doing from now on. Save your money. Hometurf has done absolutely nothing that I couldn't have done myself, and probably better. But the best was the technician who basically told me flat out he knew nothing... gee, thanks. Then what am I paying you for exactly?!
*UPDATE: Over 2 years after having posted this review and cut my service with this company, I am STILL getting mail from them, including automatic renewal of summer maintenance program, as well as spam/junk mail! I have called their offices on two occasions telling them to take me off every mailing list they have (and have been assured by receptionist that I had been), and yet, yesterday, I get another piece of mail. Unreal! STAY AWAY!

In regards to weeds in your backyard we do provide free re-sprays to ensure that if any weeds grow back between applications they are taken care of for you.
