Purchased various materials for home renovation
I purchased about $2000.00 of various home reno items. Had to return two towel bars and a rug that I did not need. Home Depot Gerrard Square would not accept the return of one towel bar because that particular store did not sell the item. I was told I had to go to the Etobicoke store where I orginally purchased the towel bar. They would not transfer the item via interstore. When I expressed my dismay I was told repeatedly that Home Depot has the right to refuse any return, even if it is from one of their own stores and within the 90 day window. Unfortunately the assistant manager, Steve G. was equally unhelpful. I have never experienced that from the store before, but I am certainly much more hesitant to shop there now.
