dining room light fixture replacement

Our chandelier for our dining room light was broken. At first we did not know which company sold that type of light because it was purchased by a previous owner of the house. We found that Home Depot sold that brand of light fixture. We went there to see if we could buy a replacement chandelier. The Home Depot staff sourced out the glass and it had to be special ordered from Italy. When it arrived we were happily and unexpectadly surprised that Home Depot gave us the replacement chandelier for our light fixture.

overhead lighting for kitchen and bathroom

The helpful staff in the lighting dept. was very knowledgeable when my husband and I were trying to find the right fixtures for both our kithen and bathroom. We had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to assist us, however, it was worth the wait and we were about to buy something we would have had to return. Thanks!

paint for my exterior walls

The paint department personnell were excellent by providing knowledgable information on when and how to paint my exterior cedar siding. I had never painted the outside of my house but the assistant was able to make sure I had the right brushes and used the right paint/stain. Clean up was a breeze with the Behr latex paint.

blinds

I went in with the measurements of my windows which were not standard and the staff in this department helped me pick coverings for all my windows and cut the blinds to fit and gave me some tips on installing them. I went home and had every window in my house covered with some sort of blind by the end of the afternoon . they were immensely helpful .

multi-supplier

Have lots to compare but often out of stock. Sometimes trying to get a sales person, who is knowledgeable, to help, is very difficult. The sales clerks are friendly.

Re-tiling main bath

Installed ‘Barker Tile’ to replace worn tile in bathroom area. The employees were not familiar with the product. It was difficult to install because the walls are not square. Finished look is like real tile, but there is not enough choice in the style and colour available.
