Dave has now done 2 jobs for me at my home in renovating both my children's bathroom and my own master bathroom and in all honesty, Dave and his crew have done a remarkable job. Aside from grade A quality work, the overall experience of having Dave and specifically his crew working in our home was delightful and comforting. Prior to having any work done I was concerned that my expectations wouldn't be met but having Dave take me and my partner through every possible option and taking the time to ensure that each desire would be met eliminated all of my concerns. Having other home renovations done in the past, I have never experienced punctuality and precision regarding the expected timeline to have all work complete. As I am a very meticulous person when it comes to the condition and cleanliness of my home, I was very surprised that despite the messy nature of the renovation, Dave and his crew took extra care in making sure that they wouldn't leave a mess. The outcome of the renovation exceeded any expectation I could have ever imagined, the quality in their work speaks volumes about their experience, skills, and dedication to their work. Overall I must say it was beyond a pleasure having Dave and his crew working in our home as they were not only workers but friends by the end of these projects, I would and have recommended Home Care Renovation for anyone seeking work done on their home as there is no doubt in my mind that I will be calling them in the future for additional renovations.

We have had Dave do 2 projects for us. The first a new build double car garage, the 2nd a complete gut reno of our 3rd floor. While Dave never came in the cheapest, we have been completely satisfied with both jobs. He has numerous suggestions to bring down cost without compromising quality, he makes really good recommendations to improve function while ensuring good aesthetics. Pete, Dave's assistant, is also great, professional, has great attention to detail, and ensures the job site is completely cleaned up at the end of each day. The subcontractors Dave engages have all been very professional, personable. It is clear there is mutual respect between Dave and the subcontractors as they will respond quickly to his requests. We have never had a problem with Dave or any of the people he works with. Dave is a real problem solver and a good guy. On a final note - if you are going to have people in your space for several weeks or months - you are going to want someone you can trust, who delivers on their word and who you enjoy having in your space. Dave and Pete (and all the subcontractors) are these people. We will work with Dave and his team again without a question.

Working with Dave Iacoucci, the owner of Home Care Renovation was the best decision we could have made. Dave was dependable, honest, meticulous, and very clear about expectations, plans, and time schedules. The three bathroom project was very well organized, and he identified many opportunities as reasonably possible for us to save money without cutting corners. Dave readily responded to our phone calls and emails before, during, and after the renovations were completed. The teams of people that Dave subcontracted were also reliable, pleasant, courteous, and very professional. The daily cleanup work was swept and/or vacuumed and put into a bin. The project was completed in a timely and comparatively stress-free manner. Any concerns we had were addressed expeditiously and in a calm, professional way. Dave truly wants to please the customer. We highly recommend him without hesitation!

We have had an excellent experience working with Dave Iacoucci, the owner of Home Care Renovations, and his talented assistant Pete. They completed the job on-time and on-budget. Any additional costs fell within the 15% contingency we had anticipated. We would recommend Home Care without reservation. Dave, Pete and Dave’s subcontractors did quality work and were a pleasure to work with. Our only disagreements with Dave concerned aesthetics. He has his taste and we have ours. Not a problem because we were very confident in what we wanted. Dave would always defer to whatever we wanted.

Our home is almost 100 years old. We renovated the kitchen and the master bedroom. We created a master bedroom with a walk-in closet/changing room and en-suite bathroom. We sanded and stained almost every floor in the house except those that had been previously sanded and couldn’t be re-done. We re-wired the entire house to replace any remaining knob and tube wiring. All work was done with building permits. It was a big job that took 4 months to complete.

We approached this project very carefully having had a few awful renovation experiences in the past. We did our homework. We developed a Scope of Work and drawings with an architect. We interviewed 6 contractors. 3 were within $5,000 of each other while the other two were $20,000 and $50,000 higher. 1 declined to quote. We met again with the 3 contenders to review their proposals and ask for at least 3 references. We were down to two because 1 couldn’t or wouldn’t provide references. We selected Dave in part on the quality of the work we saw and even more based on the positive comments of the other people for whom he had done work. Their comments were much like ours – easy to work with, wants to please, gets the job done on-time and has terrific sub-contractors.

We contacted Dave to give us a quote on a new house we purchased after he did some minor work for us at our old house.

He came out the next day and reviewed all work that I wanted to have done to the house. He made some recommendations that turned out really well and are a lot more functional then what I wanted to do.

I had 4 contractors go though the house and give me quotes, one of them quoted me 30k for the work when everyone else was anywhere from 75-100k.

After reviewing all the information we decided to go with Dave, he was not the cheapest option however he seemed the most reasonable, as he told us exactly what his price included, time lines, and what he needed from us and when for the work to move forward. He also set all the expectations as far as payment is concerned right from the start and when the payments are to be made. The last payment he told us was to be made after all work was done by him. This is something that we really respected as we hard some horror stories on TV and newspapers about this.

When Dave and his guys showed up there were extremely professional in the way they did all the work. It took 3 months to have it all done which was right there as far as the timing of the project from the beginning.

He also made some great recommendations to us on stores to shop at for appliances and gave us some decorative ideas.

We will be definitely hiring Dave, for our next project and we do recommend for anyone doing a renovation of any type to speak with him.

We hired Dave from Home Care Renovation to demolish and finish our basement. Dave and his crew did a phenomenal job, he had a lot of great ideas and went the extra mile to give us our dream basement. The work they did at every stage exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. Dave himself is very easy to work with, works long hours, has great attention to detail and a good eye for design/finishing. I recently had a issue with a leak in the bathroom and I decided to call Dave from Home Care Renovation. He came out in a timely matter (next day) took a look the not only the problem that was at hand but also some of the other issues that I will have in the future. My house had some issues that were hidden (leaks in the wall, from previous owner that were growing mould) He did all of this at no addition cost and fixed it all up quickly and at a reasonable price.
