We hired this company based on the fact that they had excellent reviews at this site, but we would advise people to think twice before calling them. We had a problem with our ac unit not working and it took close to 3 weeks before someone returned our call to make an appointment. It took another week to get an appointment, and longer still to get one that was confirmed and kept. Some other problems:
1. The tech Angel seemed very nice and he fixed the wiring on our AC. it was too tight, a problem left by the builder. The ac worked for 2 weeks after Angel fixed it, and we had another storm and it stopped working again. therefore we didn't get a permanent fix. if angel knew that this wasn't going to be a permanent fix, then he should have told us.
2. we called and booked another appt and were told that if the ac was breaking because of an incomplete fix from the company, it would not be charged. they confirmed and broke 2 appointments. then angel called and tried to trouble shoot the ac problem over the fone offering multiple reasons our ac could not be working. obviously we are aware of this but since fixing the wiring fixed the problem...its easy to put 2 and 2 together. if the tech thought the wiring was a possible problem but wasn't sure, he should have let us know that first appointment, and then charged for whatever number of appts to diagnose and fix. he didn't. and then to call your customer and try to advise them on the phone...thats ridiculous.
i am going to call another company to try my luck.

We searched our data base ( we have over 1000 clients on file) to try to put a name and or address to this as well as the 2 other negative reviews recently posted, we could not locate you as a customer, which leads us to believe that the three negative reviews were posted by a disgruntled exemployee of Heating Plus,This was our suspicion from the start but we wanted to check our files and make sure that we didn't drop the ball on these people, when no such customers emerged, and the fact that all 3 reviews were posted within one week of each other, all with the same score we came to the conclusion that this is an exemployee recently fired during this time period, trying to get back at us. While we continue to speak highly of homestars and it's site, the screening process does not take much to pass inorder to post a negative review, all you need is some blank invoices /proposals (which this exemployee still has )send them to Homestars and say whatever you wish, I believe we have an outstanding record and not all of our reviews are 100% , which is what makes this a good site for homeowners, if you read previous reviews you will see that clients of ours have had problems but those problems were rectified each and every time.So we encourage you to read our past posts and not make a decision based on this exemployee's attempt to strike back at us!
