I have a Samsung Refrigerator that has stopped cooling. I called an appliance repair professional to come to my home to diagnose the issue. They provided me with a full report stating that it was a faulty compressor. They advised me that Samsung has a 10 year warranty on the compressor and that i should to through Samsung for repair. After providing all the information to Samsung, they created a service ticket with Hank's Appliance Repair. After receiving an email and text from Hank's, it was very difficult for me to get any answers or updates from them. they said they prefer text communications however it was days between their responses. I called their phone numbers an no one would ever answer live. They finally decided to come over a week later with nothing more that a text message 20 mins before they arrived, good thing i was available. When onsite, the technician was only trying to discredit what the previous technician had diagnosed, stating that it was an internal leak however it would cost another $282 just for him to find where the leak is and maybe another $800 - $1000 to fix. Based on all the research i've already done it was clear to me this was just a money grab. Since the compressor is under warranty by Samsung i asked if he would order me the part and i can have it installed on my own. He stated no, and they he would have to install the part and would charge me an additional $450 for labour plus additional cost for other parts needed as well, far more than the part it self cost. Stay away from Hank's Appliances.

hi Curtis, the repairman you called was from Brampton he has no positive reviews anywhere. that is probably why he can not find any work in Brampton and has to travel to Oshawa. Your fridge was misdiagnosed by him. We do not replace parts that are not needed. Fridge has a freon leak that can not be fixed or is too expensive to repair. The price you paid is for a pressure test to determine the problem. something the other technician did not do. We told you the fridge was no good. Yet you sold it to some lady out in the west end for 1000.00. I know this because she called me, and we spoke for at least half an hour she has a family to feed, and yet you ripped her off. that was money she had saved to buy a fridge. You sold her this fridge, knowing it was garbage. You are unbelievable to do such a thing to someone.
