I moved from Nova Scotia to Winnipeg, MB on very short notice. The customer service was top notch! Both moving crews I had (in NS and in Winnipeg) were polite, careful, and a pleasure to deal with.
The Nova Scotia crew navigated a difficult lane to access my home without any complaint, were very pleasant to deal with, worked efficiently, and were very careful with my belongings.
The Winnipeg delivery was just amazing. They showed up exactly when they estimated they would be there (TWO days prior)
Very professional, careful and courteous.
The communications I had with the main office were prompt, polite and professional.
I couldn't be happier with the level of service I received. I truly feel that they went beyond the call of duty for me.

So glad we chose Great Canadian Van Lines for our second cross-Canada move in five years. Yet again our move went off without a hitch!
Our final total came in under estimate, within the time frame provided and with no damage to any goods or homes. In fact the only breakage came from me during unpacking!
Every aspect of the move was efficient, organized and hassle-free, with quick email estimates, confirmations and answers provided by Kathy. Amar and his crew were amazingly efficient, professional, organized and helpful during the Toronto pickup in 34 degrees dealing with 3 flights of stairs in our Victorian semi, and also at the destination in Vancouver, where they negotiated our spiral staircase with ease (not to mention dealing with parking after Vancouver’s parking permit office left us high and dry!). Please pass on another big thank you to them!

Company does not communicate TAKES THE MONEY & RUNS- MOST Important as we are unpacking we are finding DAMAGED GOODS, Drivers rush you when they unpack so it takes time to see the problems - called Management "RICK" - not once not twice but 3 times & would not return my calls , they will probably respond to this review with some excuses - DON'T BUY IT - STAY CLEAR - I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Pine bedroom set is all damaged as well as Fabric Chair - straps were placed so tight, imprints into furniture - NICE JOB FELLOWS!!!

I hired Great Canadian Van Lines to move from Calgary to Toronto. After looking into a UHaul, this company was actually cheaper when I took into account the price of gas refills, hotels, and food along the journey. The men who helped pack up my place and move my belongings from the Calgary location were great! My landlords were so impressed with their care and curtesy (they made sure to let apartment tenants go ahead of them in the entrance areas, and took extra care not to ding up the elevators or glass entrance doors), that they asked for business cards to provide to any tenants in our building looking for a moving company. And my landlords are picky people! My furniture was delivered on time, and the guys who delivered it did a super quick and efficient job of getting it in our new place, as my husband had to catch a flight out of town, and we were under a time constraint.

Great Canadian Van Lines rescued our move after previously contracted movers walked off the job. Within less than 15 minutes GCVL located a driver and packing team. Shawn told us he would look after us - and he did. Our move was only 2 days behind schedule and everything arrived on time and intact. This is what customer service is about - going beyond expectations.

We recently moved from Ontario to a small island in British Columbia with Great Canadian Van Lines. This was a tricky move as it involved ferries and shuttles. We interviewed 10 moving companies but GCVL were the ONLY company that would give us FIRM details, numbers and a timeline. Now that the move is completed we are thrilled that everything went exactly as promised. No surprises. The crews at both ends of our move arrived on time on the dates we had been scheduled. The movers were fantastic. They were courteous, kind, friendly and fast. Absolutely all of our belongings arrived quickly and nothing was scratched or damaged, except for 2 cereal bowls which I had not packed properly. That's pretty amazing considering this stuff went right across Canada! If you are considering a move, you will be so pleased if you use this company. It makes what could be a stressful situation absolutely EASY!

My daughter needed to move from Calgary back to Ottawa a.s.a.p.
Great Canadian Van Lines was the first company to respond to our request. They were very quick with an estimate and the service was super. The driver communicated with us all the way on his trip to Ottawa. The delivery was when he said it would be. The staff were extremely helpful and careful. I would use their services again.

We had researched many moving companies as this was a really big move for us which included vehicles as well. We really appreciated the service we received from Rick as he was really fast at setting the move up and professional. We asked him several questions and he provided thorough and honest answers. He was always available when we needed to speak to him as well. The price was exactly around the total we expected. I know we would use them again for sure.

Great Canadian Van Lines help me moved from Regina to Vancouver in February and from Vancouver back to Regina in May. Everything were organized and clear. Not had bad surprises and all my belonnings returned in same condition as it was.

We had a great experience moving with Great Canadian Van lines from BC to Alberta from the estimate up until the point of delivery of our stuff. Employees from the company especially Shawn who came to do the estimate for us and arranged for the whole move and Jai the driver were very friendly, cooperative, and good at their work. We got our stuff on time as promised. We had no issues regarding any of our stuff. Jai did the packing and unpacking for all our stuff with great care and suggested us few things which worked well for us. We thank Great Canadian Van lines for making our move so much easier.
