My dishwasher broke down. I called Gary's Appliance Service because they do service as well as sales, something that I believe is important. Gary came himself, he checked the unit, and deemed it not worth repairing. They billed me a fair fee of under $100 with tax, and added that if I purchased a replacement from them that they would credit half the service charge toward a new unit. They have a number of brands available. I asked what they would recommend. I chose a unit, but then was steered towards a unit that was on sale, as it had similar features. Gary arrived on time, calling ahead to confirm the appointment, installed the new unit, removed the old, and took all the materials with him. A perfect job, and a happy customer. Sounds easy, but try to get this service from many other suppliers. Thanks!
