There seems to be a profusion of confusion about our recent dismay.
We contracted for all windows to be replaced.
The installers understood that they were to replace all windows. With this in mind they removed flashing from all windows
After they left the rep informed us that one window would not be done and unless we paid more the window would remain in unfinished condition,
We asked how much more and he replied he would have to come back the next day with"papers". He never appeared again.
We reluctantly paid in full obviously uncomfotable with the decision.
We still felt that we should have all the windows done as per agreement.
We have never at anytime denied anyone access to the job site.
We cannot understand how we became at fault in this matter.
It is clear that the whole fiasco has been caused by a mistake by the rep.
We resent the fact that you clearly think we somehow adjusted the window total.
With the pictures enclosed we suggest that you would be better advised to rethink your position in this matter,
You will find that the original contract is open to interpretation.
You will also see that the windows are easily counted and accessible.
We resent the implication that we are trying to deceive you.
The bottom line is we have a window minus flashing and caulking and unless we pay more it will remain that way. We had to have a plastic cover put over the inside to stop the draft. It was the reason we had new windows insatlled
Your company removed the flashing and some how you justify that we should be accountable to restore it.
We are a business that has been around for 50+ years we understand that
some times there are misunderstandings. We can go along with that. But we will not tolerate anyone that claims we tried to circumvent a deal.
If by the end of June (more than enough time) we do not feel we have been fairly dealt with.We will pursue this with great vigour. If it resolved we will retract our reviews.
Please look carefully at the photos supplied and make your decision.

Hello Renegade,
We thank you for your feedback but we are very sorry to see your low rating, especially after signing off our satisfaction completion certificate form. Looking at your signed purchase agreement you bought 21 windows and you paid for 21 windows and not 22 as indicated in your review. As per our conversation with your local branch manager he informed us that during the installation of the 21 windows it was discovered that there was an additional window which was missed but was never charged on your sales agreement. In the interest of good customer service, our branch manager offered to provide you with the window at free of charge, at our cost in the amount of $450. All you were asked to pay for was for the installation fee, which you agreed. Once the window was ready he contacted you to set up an installation date which you informed him that you were no longer interested. The offer for the free window is still available, please contact Ken if you wish to proceed.
We thank you for your business and wish you the very best!
