Ely's Glass

Terrible experience with Ely’s Glass. The workmen were careless and unprofessional. They were supposed to replace a mirror, but worked without adequate protection of a newly renovated room. They allowed pieces of broken glass to fall all over a new hardwood floor damaging the floor. When the owner was called to raise this issue, he could not care less and was rude. The workmen left with the job unfinished and damage to the house. If you want destroy your house, call this company.

Carmine at Ely's Glass provided me a quote and a custom cut piece of glass within 24 hours. It is for a desk top and is very large - 28" x 70 3/4". He has a very strong work ethic and I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Ely's Glass for any glass project you may have!

Our picture window in the family room seemed to have sprung an “air leak” & moisture was literally clouding the view. When my husband & I spoke to Mike at the Avenue Rd office he told us if it wasn’t leaking water there is no hurry to replace the glass but he would send someone out to look. How honest is that!!! The men showed up before their scheduled time, hooray, & took all sorts of measurements, the next day we were given a price which was lower than 2 other quotes. We ordered the glass & within 2 weeks it was delivered & installed. The installers again showed up early and did a very professional job & cleaned up both outside & inside the house!!!! What more can we ask for right??? Thank you Ely’s Glass, you came highly recommended and we shall pass on the same.

As part of a kitchen update, it was necessary to shorten one kitchen cabinet door. The cabinet door has a decorative wrought iron glass insert which I wanted to re-use in order for it to match my other kitchen glass cabinet doors. I called Jane at Ely's Glass head office in Scarborough to ask if this would be possible. After several emails with photos, measurements and dropping off my old and new cabinet doors, I was given a quote and confirmation that indeed my old glass insert could be re-used in my new cabinet door. It was closer to drop off my doors at the Avenue Rd. store than the Morningside head office location. The workmanship on the final product was excellent and matches the rest of my cabinets with glass inserts perfectly. Ely's Glass also custom made two bathroom mirrors for me a few years ago which turned out beautifully. Would not hesitate recommending Ely's Glass or using them again.

This company gave me a sample for my window to test. It was great. I didnt think it wpuld be so cost effective. I recommend this company very jonest thank you
